I jsut don't understand why players use the dislike button, when they litterally survived my attacks with fucking 80 HP.
For realz, some players just wont count their blessings and wanna watch the world burn 😔lol
Bcoz they know we're humilhated with this HP remaining.

I agree with you guys. Idk if u caught it in the vid but I explain how they want to have some amount of "controlled" toxicity to keep players engaged and want to keep playing. Idk if I would go as far as saying it means you are an insecure person irl, but I'm sure everyone has had some moments of slight rage where they kept getting dogged on and it made them a bit mad lol

Their devs are very smart, they are making lots of diffrent toxic pins or emotes ( clash royale ) on purpose because most of the ones are for money ( example in the video ). Supercell team using psychology tricks to make their players keep playing the games.

Yo, it is actually cool to hear that there are still people who appreciate showing kudos to others. I applaud u for this and wish more players could feel the same way! Maybe if they added an extra emote slot players could use positive emotes with a balance of whichever other ones they want to!

Me and my friend are probably part of the rare players who started without toxicity and still ain't toxic to this day, my friend has 50K trophies and he's pretty skilled, but he hasn't shown any toxicity until now, I'm so proud of him lol.

I just hate when i play knockout and my teammates throw making me do a 3v1 and then give me thumbs down when i fail...
The only reason why people still thumbsdown, is because of the insane unbalanced variety of brawlers in the brawl stars meta right now. Take edgar and kit for example. Since they counter basically all the brawlers with either low dps or no way to escape, they feel the power to laugh at them after their eventual defeat, so they are toxic
Also, because the brawl stars playerbase is around 12-14, its pretty much normal that they would be toxic

Yeah, whenever you're caught by kit, you're pretty much dead.
At least with Edgar you can push him back if he gets too close with some gadgets or supers, but that's a very temporal solution since you only get up to 4 gadgets per game, and Edgar isn't threatened by being pushed back in most cases.
Edgar rework idea: Every time he spins or thumbs down, he loses all his super charge

@jv_16 idk if I would say "insecure" but maybe if you are a younger player, it would be harder to keep your emotions in check. I do think though that if you can't handle at least a small amount of toxicity, you shouldn't be playing the game lol. Interesting take tho, ty for sharing
In brawl stars i can agree, but on clash royale, I cannot say the same thing. Losing 3 matches just for a no skill player (Mega Knight or X-Bow players) to "heheheha"... Yeah, It's annoying and I hope the next offer on the shop is a punching bag

I count 19 whoosh sound effects in the first 20 seconds. That’s 1 whoosh per 1.05 seconds. That makes this entire video (on average) have 160 whooshes.
Idk if you are trying to say if it is a bad thing or a good thing, but the sound effects are honestly my least favorite part of editing. It took me so long to have to go one whoosh at a time and line it up with the visuals I made 😭 But yea, at least people can take notice of how much can go into a simple 2 minute video lol

The real problem is players who call themselves "pro players" and tend to use toxic pins for doing the basics in the match, it's like playing against a team that played well the entire match and in the end sending a dislike while during the match you He didn't do much other than being carried by his team, or simply because he won by luck, honestly, at times this irritates a lot and I think it drives players away more than it attracts. And I know there is a button to disable pins, but that button doesn't make you immune to likes at the end of matches or Sprays. This even raises an interesting debate, since the community has a habit of using things that were created with a good purpose, for a bad purpose, like the like button that was supposed to be used to praise a player and in the end people use it to emphasize that the player didn't help at all in the match, almost as if they were saying "you're rubbish and you don't know how to play, I'm better than you for winning with 20 HP".
@ElubeP2 Very good points, I think a lot of players do tend to overestimate their skill, so they try to act toxic, but in doing so, it is just irritating and dumb bc it is obvious that the result of the game could have gone either way.

I've been playing the game for 5 years and i can agree about there being toxicity everywhere but it was never impacted my experience.
bro i went from using thumbs up (also other thumbs up pins like the collector pins) all the way to start using X spray with dislike or brawler cry pins with X spray because
-there’s an edgar becoming a ferris wheel after he kills
-kit sends clown pin after killing me
-gay dynamike players only being able to get kills because of their gadget and bush camp
never forgetting to send my toxic spray with cry pin after killing someone because everybody else is being toxic to me
i’m not offended over some pins but after a while it starts to get on your nerves, i had a balance of putting both thumbs up and down so whenever someone is toxic to me i can use thumbs down but if they weren’t i would be positive, too bad i only equip the toxic emotes now
I see. This kinda shows how it can snowball by having one person be toxic, then it resulting in other switching to using 'toxic' pins/sprays. I think this may be by design and is kind of what I was getting at in the vid. Ty for sharing your perspective!
I used to use ONLY positive emotes, since last week i have been using clown pin and spray with a heart pin. I used to be wholesome, now im neutral. With these randoms i guess i will be a toxic too.
I always use the X spray to try to say "don't go there" or "that's a bad idea".
It works if I'm playing with friends, but randoms never understand that and get killed immediately, SPECIALLY in gem grab.
It's just it has more retention. Anger and toxicity have more retention than any other emotion, this also drives other social media so in theory it's effective to keep the game alive (up to a point though as you mentioned)

The main problem is people not devs, not game, but people. Also clown emoji is the god tier PIN, and you can use it not only for enemy, but also for your handless team mates. For me this pin is OK until Edgar mains dont using it.
Exhibit A: Literally the mere existence of low skill brawlers that award players for no effort at all, meanwhile high skill brawlers struggle to even take their stand in the meta.

The thing i hate about toxicity is just how its mass spammed every single match either by a clown or dislike emote giving disrespect. Just not right to use every single match it just gets annoying.

In Ranked should have a fourth option of Report called: Toxic Behavour with a Cord Mushroom Sign Pin.(Idk if it is a Mushroom or a Tree).
Honestly thats a pretty good idea. You can report your own teammates for messing around so I think being able to do the same for opponents would make sense (I think the reason they haven't added this yet is bc the losing team might just report enemies out of spite simply bc they lost) but idk.

The brawl stars community is very toxic and Supercell knows that pretty well, so they abuse it with pins that pin collectors and toxic players will buy them directly.
Me personally im quite more mad losing matches rather than getting that thumbs down pin. However i get very pissed off when my random becomes toxic, we lose, and you guess what happpens.

The point of the video was to explain how the Brawl Stars devs want toxicity, and *why* they want it, not really about saying that it's bad and should be removed (Just for some clarification)

Being "salty" in a game means to be angry or triggered by losing, being outplayed, or made fun of. The salt pin is essentially like saying, "oh ur feeling salty??" And rubbing more salt in the wound if u get what I mean
