Slam Dunk on this update! I'm getting very comfortable with dips. I'm starting to lean into them more and more. Investing is so much more psychological than anyone wants to admit. Buy the dip and hodl
Wow...a month later and...I did buy 575 more shares of NVDA, but I was too afraid to buy SMCI. I wasn't as familiar with it. I even set a buy limit of 700 the day after(I couldn't afford more than 100-150 shares at that point, I don't keep that much on the sideline normally and even less during a good stretch like this, but instead, I went with AMZN.
Cost myself ~15K, but...ya know, shit happens.
Held onto LAM, ASML but chickend out AMAT. it's already up from where I sold. I probably should sell myself as a professional bottom indicator.
Love the ditherers, CNBC et al. performance artists dressed up as experts. Buy the dip, buy the dip they profess. With NVDA -15% in their face, "should you buy the dip" ?

I currently have lots of INDI shares. Does not seem to be doing well atm especially with the interest rates under performing the other chip stocks.
I love corrections, pull backs, retracements, whatever you want to call them. Best time to to buy into a new position or add to your current position. Not a basketball fan . I'll wait for football season to start up again to hear your football comments.

You need to dig deeper in automotive, which is a large part of chip supply chain. Due to high interest rate and inflation, people are delaying bigger purchases like buying a new car (EV). Once cheaper models from Rivian and Tesla (Model 2 maybe) kicks in, along with extremely worn out ICE users (laggard buyers) can no longer delay their new car purchases, you will see moderate growth in EV. Thats going to happen, only in 2026.
So chip stocks, which are dependent on EV segment, are a dud for good 6 quarters.
Stay out of AEHR and the likes. Buy in consumer electronics which have bottomed out already (your own chart nicely shows the same). eg. Apple. Well corrected stock, expect good growth in 2025,26 (with cheaper SE model coming). Then exit Apple and go for AEHR, Tesla and even Rivian which would be seeing growth in 2026-2030 period.
