www.she4me.org SHE4MarriageEquality (SHE4ME); the five minute video directed by Nicole Conn, stars Nicole Pacent, Mike C. Manning, Gabrielle Christian, Steve Tyler, Barbara Niven and features several cameos by actors who have portrayed seminal LGBT roles.
SHE4ME is set against a song called "She" by Jen Foster who makes a cameo appearance as "The Wedding Singer". The song has been a favorite within the lesbian community for over a decade and is often used in commitment ceremonies. She has been reworked specifically for this project, by renowned music producer Eve Nelson.
SHE4ME was directed by Nicole Conn, who was officially crowned the #1 LGBT Feature film Writer/Director of all time by Wolfe Video in January 2014. Conn is best known for her groundbreaking multiple award winning lesbian films, Claire Of The Moon (1992); little man (2005); Elena Undone (2010); and A Perfect Ending (2012); has once again delivered in this poignant yet epic music video that celebrates Marriage Equality.

I seriously don't think people who are heterosexual understand. Like my mom used to tell me, you go looking for lesbian things all the time. I tell her that she turns the TV and 99% of the things on TV are heterosexual. The reason we as humans watch TV is to connect, how am I a lesbian suppose to connect to someone or something that was created for a heterosexual? I can't. So I have to look for things that I can. This is something that brings joy to my heart, the story and the way it is made was beautiful. I am very thankful for people who take the time to spread the word, and their story. I don't think that someone putting this up on their page is them shoving it in anyone face and I think that the public is made up of more LGBT people then is thought to be, So there for it is a service announcement not activist propaganda. You are the ones clicking on things that are clearly labeled for someone who has compassion for same sex interest and then bashing it. My final thoughts are, I am sure that when you think back to being a kid you can hear your mom saying if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
Yessss love your words. I just started being a book addict on this app that my girlfriend claims I am Lol. I told her babe it's something I finally can relate & get advice from. Everything is heterosexual, idk I'm not moved by that, b/c I can't relate. I want to see movies in the theater being able to reach all audiences especially such things as romance & family movies so children with same sex parents can relate as well. This video had me in tears of joy imagining myself marrying my girlfriend. Well put words once again!
This is one reason why, our community has a higher depression rate because of a lack of things that show support for us or anything we can connect to or with. It's difficult searching out anything for our community because while acceptance is slowly way to slowly growing they ignore the fact that we still have no movies,tv,books,songs for the most part, entertainment,businesses that cater to us we're still too largely, ignored. I asked a str8t person once do you actively seek out things that are hetero-normative?There response was well that's different not really.
1431adam Yes our community is so large. As marriage equality keeps spreading I'm so surprise that Hollywood hasn't put a lgbt film out there. Entertainment should appeal for all. Some kid that I once was nd that role model. Nd that guidance on what to do in certain situations. Just plain nd to relate with something. Seeing this video made my heart melt that hey I can actually marry the woman I love.
yea I like that equality is spreading but there's still a lot of things our community ignores like the discrimination with in our community,still legal for me to be fired in over 40 states,higher poverty rate and so on there's still a lot of work that needs to be done.

I really love this video because its unlike other vids where they give you happiness and then take it all away. The beginning literally made me cry of sadness and the ending made me cry tears of joy. I've never cried so hard in just 5 min.

I'm heterosexual, but in my opinion, love is love regardless of gender, so the LGBTQ community should have all the same rights. Why should we get to decide the happiness of people most of us are not involved in unless we have friends that fall into that community. I believe it is not right or fair to dictate how others live their lives. I have many friends in the LGBTQ community I love each and every one of them, and wish them all the happiness life has to offer.

Your one of the few who is not biased about the sexual preferences we all have a right to have. I appreciate your stepping up and saying the things you said. Not many people would do that. I am an open lesbian and have had to hide who I have always been because of how judgemental this world is. I only started living my life openly gay in my late 40's. I have been through a lot in my life because I chose to not hide anymore. I am glad for the time I've had just being me since then. I now don't care what people think about me. We all have a right to be happy no matter what our sexual preferences are. Bless you! 😎

I don't generally believe in equality but here marriage ouht be equally for no one. Marriage has nothing to do with love but with want and ownership, invented so that young girls (brides) were sold for cattle to rear children, children who are born without their consent [still] and are mostly redundant and wasteful.
I'm an open lesbian and this is just SO beautiful. Someday I'm going to marry a beautiful girl and it will be wonderful like this.

Beautiful video/PSA. I love when it cuts to both girls dancing and the sound like a heartbeat. Jen Foster's voice is in great form.
