I love this. Wonderful voice . This is probably dumbest comparasion ever but to me this version sounds like something that could appear on first few Danzig solo records ( If Danzig happened to have incredible classical guitarist with him in in the studio and could hold back on the cheesiness ) I guess both him and Ian Curtis were really into Jim Morrison and Elvis so there is some shared DNA in the song and your singing just brought it out to me :D

Great interpretation
Most of the time I don't care for covers, however, this is quite the exception, Alan. Great job, I mean really, just brilliant. Never thought I'd hear Joy Division played in such a delicate and ornate way, while still retaining the power of the original. When you began playing the descending line during the verse, and punctuated with the dissonant chords I was like, "What is he doing? And why does it work so well?!" I love when music surprises me like that. That part specifically also brought to mind David Pajo and Slint for me. Really cool arrangement, and you're a great musician. Thank you for sharing this 🙌
