Yep this is the Best Trailer with Reptile, Ashrah, and Havik being Playable, plus the Flesh Pits and Sereena as a Kameo doesn’t look Half Bad, also I think the Kollector Actor plays Reptile.
I loved your reaction! lol. I loved this trailer, best one yet! These trailers are getting better and better, this game is going to be f*cking crazy! This looks like the best version of Reptile for sure. I think it's a great choice having him switch back and forth as a human and a reptile. If he's not the resident punching bag, I'll believe it when I see it (Same for Baraka) I'm also surprised they seem to have him as a good guy, in general I just don't see that lasting (Just like when they made Sub Zero a cyborg) but I'm curious how that will go. I was sure she would show up, but I've been wanting Ashrah to return so badly for so long! I'm glad people pointed out she has her hat, that was always the main thing I loved about her suit. She was my favorite new character in MK Deception, especially for her personal storyline in that game. Wanted Havik back as well lol. My only complaints so far is wasting a spot on Darrius but there is still no Jade, Ermac's look (Please fix that before the game comes out, it's horrible! When I first saw that trailer I didn't even know that was Ermac until seeing all the comments) and all those DC DLC characters I don't know (Besides Peacemaker) Also, is Sonya on the roster or a kameo, cause so far they make it look like she's the latter. That would be an insult if she's just a kameo, she was the first female fighter in MK! She better be on the main roster. OMG, that Reptile fatality was insane! Vomiting her out was just...sick. I've also been loving the fatalities they have teased in these trailers (LIke that Liu Kang fatality where he put the person in a portal and they got sucked into a black hole. Holy crap!!!) I don't get how the MK team is so creative with making new and fresh fatalities game after game, but I bow to them. These sick bastards are brilliant! I can't wait for this game, it's going to be fun and crazy as hell. Let's go! *Backflips*

Netherealm really did justice to Baraka and Reptile in this game, and i'm so happy with it even tho they are not my favourite... i guess have to celebrate this with "Reptile Techno Theme" XD

Haha! It’s also nice he’s referred to Syzoth in the story. It was mentioned only once in MKX with intro dialogue, but this is cool they’re keeping it in.
I dont think Khameleon is a Zaterran anymore. She could be but reptile explaining he is an outcast for being the only member of his race to change form it would contradict khameleon being humanoid if they are still the same race.
@@LOWBORN-the-LOATHSOME definitely could be the case. Old lore was when opposite sex zaterrans are around each other they slowly become more and more human. I think after they made Reptile non human they made male Chameleon the male that female khameleon was around so they were both humanoid instead of reptiles. But they then both seemed to become their own tanslucent character race in the 3d games with it being unkown if they are still Zaterrans but then in MK11 they had reptile skins for some female characters with the skin being named Khameleon as if she is still zaterran. A lot of MK characters don't have backstory and the chameleons defintiley suffer from it. I hope they explain it since khameleon seems to appear in the story.
A few stray things people may have not noticed. When Havik calls in a non assault kameo he snaps his neck and slumps over. As far as i can tell for the throw we saw it looks like he bites off his tongue then spits blood at the opponent. Quan Chi is in a couple of the festival scenes as well as thats his green skull projectile Ashrah cuts in half and he is confirmed as a dlc character which is interesting. A lot of people think the markings on Ashrah are tattoos but it actually looks like scarification as you can see the raised skin around the red parts. Seems Ashrah has a light stance and dark stance which she didn't have before.
Here are my honest thoughts: Loved Havik. Everything about him was cool. 10/10. Ashrah is a character I’ve wanted for a long time and I’m super happy to see her again. She’s been my most requested character for about…how long ago was X? I was taken aback by her face. Not sure why she looks like that but maybe they wanted to show that she was indeed part demon more blatantly. Her design is ok I guess. I miss the hat. Maybe she will get a skin that has it on. Her moves were meh. I want to see more because she has so much potential from a gameplay perspective. The fatality was cool. I hate human Reptile and dinosaur Reptile and they gave us both😂. Not only is he “just some guy” now(and of course he’s tatted up lol) but he’s simultaneously “just some alligator” as well. MY Reptile is MK4, MKSM, MK9, MKX. That’s how he’s looked coolest to me. With that said, he does look cool(gameplay-wise) and tho I hate the designs, I will say that they fully capitalized on the concept. He looks sick(in gameplay). If there’s any positive takeaways I have from the design(s), it’s that. Tho they could have just as easily done that with another character who has been said to have another form who they showed in the trailer with that form but as a kameo!!!! Sareena will never get her time I guess. Kameo is as good as it’s gonna get. Anyways, the Reptile fatality was really cool. I love it….except or the ending. It was so strong! Swallow them up, yack them out. STOP RIGHT THERE! No need to be extra but that’s modern fatalities for ya. 9/10 so close to being a 10/10 finisher and yea the ending mattered that much to me. Kameo Sareena I already ranted about briefly but for what we do have it’s good. I love what she’s doing. Again, it’s as good as we are gonna get with her. I’m just happy she’s here at all.
I absolutely agree with your take about Reptile's design. It would've been fine if they made him shapeshift into Humanoid Reptile (you know, the one from Mk9, MKX etc), but no, they decided to turn him into Lizard from TASM 1.
There's 1 thing I've noticed with the roster for Mortal Kombat 1 so far, and it's the same thing I noticed with Tekken 8's roster(until a few hours ago that is). Don't worry, it's not a bad thing. NetherRealm hasn't revealed any brand new characters for the game yet.
I’ve noticed that too. I wonder if we’ll be seeing any brand new people in one big story trailer or something. We’re about a month away from launch, so we’ll see some more stuff soon.
@@LOWBORN-the-LOATHSOME there's only 5 roster spots left s and i don't think sector and cyrax will be in those spots tbh. im pretty positive that the next trailer will have sindel, shah and nitara based off the extra clipped they showed from smoke at the comic con. Ed did say in an interview though that we would have one new character so if that's happening and the other 3 get confirmed then that leaves one spot left which I've been seeing its between Sonya, kano and Jade
I hope Jade is in this game. As per usual, they will have Kitana and Mileena in a game but usually omit Jade. I don't get for the life of me why they keep doing this to Jade. She should be in this game too when she is Kitana's best friend and bodyguard. It's also even more annoying when they wasted a spot on useless ass Darrius. Oh, and with Tanya in the game their rivalry from Deception can be revisited again. So if she's not in the game, they dropped the ball with her once again SMH.
These trailers are so damn good, best stretch of trailers I’ve ever seen for an upcoming game. Everything about this game is lookin awesome, can’t wait for the next trailer, each trailer is so damn hype.

Well now you don't have to play as lizard reptile if you don't want to in this game since he can now shapeshift into both human and lizard.
Reptile has more personality in this trailer than in ANY other MK ever (including the movies)
Watch Mk conquest he was a serious player in the later seasons of it.

Wouldn't waste a slot on brand new characters when Nitara, Reiko, Sindel, General Shao, and playable Sektor and Cyrax still need to be revealed.
