A pure hearted “these people are serious….. the fuck is going on here?” That is the single most reoccurring dialog in my head towards the world currently
I just want to know which came first - this realization, or the transition clip on taskmaster where alex is "servicing" 😂 Greg's feet. Little alex horne knows what he's doing.
This just reminded me to the task in TM S11 where they had to make a portrait with their feet and Charlotte Ritchie refused to do it. She knew it was going to be rated on that site 🤣
I remember listening to this the first time around but having the glorious visuals of the sock assistance and seeing Rhod and Sian giggling at Greg's horror over his foot appreciation has taken it to a whole new level. 👌
Rhod and his wife making a podcast is just what I needed to get me through the holiday season. Can’t wait to see who comes on. Cheers to the new podcast from America 👏🏽
That is one of the best Froth segments ever. I have to admit it did not go the way I had visualized it for the past year. Glad it's part of your backdated video catalogue. Seriously though, i wish you had included the whole 20 minutes he was on, including the shoe story and the bolt cutter. It was all brilliant. Keep up the good work Rhod, Sian and Barry (and Rhosie)
@@TheFrothPodcast Well, first of all, I didn't think the sock assistant was so small. I thought it was slightly larger and unwieldy, hence Sian wanting not to be accidentally hit. Second, i thought the sock was white and actually knee length. Like the socks Rob Brydon wore on QI's Germany episode. Third, I cheekily pictured Greg with his shirt actually pulled up for a brief moment and that he was a bit sweatier than that. Fourth, and this is very much a lighthearted (and unrelated) critique: how deprived of lamps were you that day? I accept that it was a very sunny day and you didn't want that level of lighting directly in shot, but the level of darkness behind Rhod is so distracting! Like i said before though, this is such a great guest segment. I've played it SO MANY times. Also, the timing of that emergency siren is so good.
@@tamoorfromthe5ive I think that we can all agree that the world would be a better place with a Wallace and Gromit style sock assistant, Rhod in knee length stockings and Greg lifting his top on a zoom call. And more lamps.
We actually made one of these help-thingies to put on socks in class. It's dead easy, you just need a big plastic bucket (i.e. the kind ketchup comes in for restaurants, though that depends on the size of your feet), a pattern you can find online, a bit of string and a pair of scissors. No need to buy it.
All kinks are cool as long as no one gets hurt. Forcing someone into a kink without their consent, even if they are famous, could hurt them in a broader sense of the word by causing emotional or psychological distress. Kinks are awesome, but consent is NECESSARY.
I’ve been wondering about this one since I heard it live, weirdly I wanted to see his assumed expensive but sneakily cheap shoe! That’s not normal is it? He’s adorable.
Rhod, would love to know if it could be used with one hand. My brother recently was diagnosed with a brain tumour, had surgery and it has affected one side of his body. One hand may never regain movement/strength. His one feet might. Putting on his socks is so difficult. If you could try, I realise this is a big ask, I just want him to have dignity and self autonomy.
Probably unpopular opinion: I find Lloyd so dull. Don't know who he is, but his communication style doesn't work well in audio. In episodes where he was in, feels like he brought the mood down. If it wasn't for Sian's cheery laugh (probably because she got to see Lloyd's face when he talked), the mood of the podcast would be incredibly dull. And he's not even talkative either.
Used to be Rhod’s flat mate. He was his support act on one of his tours. Think it was the man with the flaming battenberg tattoo tour. Either that, or the cat that looked like Nicholas Lyndhurst tour. Was pretty funny from what I remember. Featured on Rhod’s work experience show too.
Aw, Sian, don't make jokes about only old people using assistive devices or assistive devices killing your sex life. Technically your husband was born disabled with ADHD, like me and my mom have. My mom and I both have chronic pain, which people with ADHD are prone to because of connective tissue differences and hypermobility, and she is a full-time wheelchair user because of an incurable degenerative neuromuscular condition. I know abled people don't think about stuff like that and make "haha old people are feeble," "haha being weak is unsexy" jokes without thinking. I'm asking you to think about it.
"have you got the internet in front of you Greg?" that's the funniest thing rhod said in the video, idk why but it makes him sound 150 years old

The instant where he realizes wiki feet is genuine kills me, the immediate tonal shift his voice takes

"If ony his feet were bare..." One can only hope this will become a new catchphrase.
Sometimes, I wake in the middle of the night in cold sweat, haunted by a longing voice whispering, "If only his feet were bare..."

Great to see Rhod reunited with the patron saint of pastry!
i wish the full version of these were uploaded (video form)

We'd love to know how you visualised it? And the shoe story will be coming soon!

This was absolutely hilarious!!

3:33 I genuinely laughed so hard at his innocent face when he said "Just sock assistance." 😆😆😆
his genuine reaction is hilarious!
I am laughing out loud 🤣 😂 😆 I love sock assistance 😄 😀 🤣
Not to further objectify Greg's body parts but dang! That forearm vascularity!
What a delight to see a video form of the podcast! Hilarious stuff!
How does one even process learning of a webpage devoted to judging your feet? Surreal at the very least.
“My feet gets rated on a website” - Greg on his next show @ WiLTY
You two are hilarious!!! Love the two of you together! Thanks for doing what you do!
"Almost certainly a rogue corn"
When will Rhod do the taskmaster podcast?!?
There comes a certain age where socks make you shout
I would so love to make Greg feel young again❤❤❤. Gorgeous. Drop dead gorgeous!!! I’d move to GB in a heartbeat for him!!!
i watch a lot of podcasts so this is a compliment and not a backhanded insult, but this is my favorite british podcast by far!

There's a couple meters away I wouldn't want to be responsible for you having a heart attack
At least his feet were bear
Well his feet are now at 4.97 stars and there are 9 more pictures of his feet. And my guess is that its all thanks to this video
Greg has lovely feet

idk about the model Rhod has, but it looks like there are similar devices that can be used one-handed (and are probably made for exactly this)
I'm developing a big old crush on Sian, heaven help me :)
Try putting on apparatus that's supposed to help with bunions
Ohh goodness
So hard right now…😅
Giggels

My son chews his toe nails.... :(
❤️
with the best will in the world - *get rid of him.*
Is this the entertainment middle-aged people deserve?
You know, Rhod. It would slick up the production value if you didn’t repeat everything your wife says in the outro. She said it. It’s good enough.
These would be good if they werent just clips and not shot on a potato
Youv'e gotta admit though, for a potato, it looks pretty good
@@TheFrothPodcast Good point.
I thought Greg was James Murphy from the thumbnail I’m so so disappointed

Who tf is Llyod?

he’s veryyy long-time friends with these guys, so even if you don’t like him as entertainment he’s definitely not going anywhere

@@johnnydollars23 he's funnier in the Unbelievable Truths (Radio 4 - only audio). In The Froth, it sounded like no enthusiasm coming out from him.
