I just looked at CP trying to find out what inks I’m missing since I have full set syndrome. I was shocked that I’m missing a lot! On the lake, olive, gingerbread, and the metallics which I must be honest, I’m quite ticked off that they have been out of stock for months! Same with the Gina Ks fuse machine! How can these companies underestimate the sale of these so poorly. Those metallic inks have been out for months! Not that I ever use them often but still. They say back in Dec but funny how they weren’t back in for the Black Friday sales. While I’m airing my thoughts, I don’t like the new bundle with the small pad and no ink pad and reinker on new colors. But she doesn’t give a discount anyway so not a big deal. Somehow if they ever get back in sock I need to get $100 order to catch up! And $92 for ink pad stickers is outrageous! You can make your own with small labels you ink and put distress glaze on so water won’t affect them. I’m getting very frustrated at the outrageous costs because they think since it a hobby we all have money.
When I saw you using the water reactive powders, I wondered if you had seen Sasha Reade's videos where she uses glossy photos paper . I used distress inks (don't have powders) and I am obsessed with the beautiful results. In her next one she used food colouring with the glossy papers. Really steps it up from cardstock. Thanks for another fun video!
I told you before, but taping off that area is brilliant! I haven’t tried it but will! It’s so sensible! Keep them in place and you know where your cardstock goes! You’re so crafty smart! My brain doesn’t get used enough to get ideas very often
That Acanthus stamp is just sublime! First time I saw you use it, I had to have it. (Did the same with the Paper Rose nativity circle die you did cards for your church a few years back - I ended up ordering direct from them in Australia because I could not find it, spent a fortune but am still happy I did 😊). You REALLY know how to pick them, Ardyth. Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
I have a few products like that, where I've tracked them down - I actually have a couple on my list right now that have been retired. Thanks so much for watching, Nicola!
Gosh Ardyth I love that background stamp from Hero Arts and the way you used it. I've been eyeing it for a while. I have also wanted that circle die from Gina. All of your card ideas just blow me away. The snowman looks like Olaf.
I love the snowman! I'm always looking for creative ways to use what I already have. The tool I added this year is a cutter that also has a scoring blade. Won't ever go back!

@@ardyth I’m counting on that! I’m not buying anything and haven’t for all year with a couple exceptions. I have tons of things I never have used due to no time. I’ve been itching to do stencils and pastes and my gel press with inks. Just finishing 4 shaker cards for Valentine’s Day. Idk how you crafty creators whip up cards so fast! Even knowing exactly what I wanted took 2 days for the cards and now I need to do envelopes! But I tried a cheap double sided foam roll that I folded in half to line the window and OMGoodness! It was stuck to everything!!!! It was so horrific! That definitely slowed me down! Back to my old way next time! I rarely do shakers but just reorganized my shaker bits drawer! lol!
