Also forgot to mention that you get extra points by checking your email and doing certain tasks. For instance I was sent an email regarding the (at the time) new Ascent ship, reading the details about the ship then answering a few questions.. I think I got 2 points. Lol
It’s not 2 points per cruise but 2 points per night of the cruise. I went on a 15 night Celebrity Cruise last year and received 75 points. So after one cruise I am halfway to the Elite Level. I Like Celebrity. I would choose them again.
Seems almost impossible to get to the top level, unless you exclusively cruise with Celebrity. I am at the classic level and have 1 cruise in May and 2 in 2025, still don’t think I’ll get to the next level. Oh well, I cruise because I enjoy it and want to try many different lines.
I was on one Celebrity cruise. I booked an oceanview and was upgraded to an infinite verandah. The cruise was 14 night transatlantic solo and I got 33 points. I have no clue how that math works. We have a cruise booked with them for May, and I am supposedly entitled to one free category upgrade, but I have no idea how to apply or even if I can.
I don't understand why anyone even mentions the "free cruise" with the top level of the benefit programs. If I advertised a "buy 100 get one free" on any product in history, I would be laughed at (rightfully). But that is the same math with the "free cruise" when you reach top status. You are marketing experts. What is the logic behind this?

Just bizarre lol

You are halfway to Select. Need 300 points for Elite

Yeah. It’s fun to just try them all and enjoy it

I’ll look into that for you
You're right, that's weird.
Haha. Yep

I mean it’s the same as casino people telling you it’s free. I mean I only gambled 10k to get a free cruise lol. It’s all psychology
