    Probe didn't create MK2, they created ports of MK2 for numerous platforms. Midway was the one that created the original arcades.

    Probe Entertainment is not the creator of MK2, they merely ported the game to the Genesis. MK2 was created and development by Midway (present day Netherrealm Studios)

      Helps prevent, Red Ring of Death since the best method to fix it after it happens is wrap it up in a towel an leave it on upside down so the solder melts back and makes a connection. Terrible design.

The excitement of playing ppl ranked high then realizing you are more talented, more rewarding than winning real martial arts tournaments for me!     This is just one of several reasons why the 80's -90's were a wonderful time to be a teenager.
    Hidden or as the kids today call them "Easter Eggs" were what made gaming so special back then.
    Whether its counting Bald Bulls charge...waiting for the camera flash, jumping on a turtle coming down steps or frantically pressing a series of buttons at any given time...those were the days.

    Mortal Kombat 2 was the game that retired me from games. Some 10 year old at the arcade knew everything about the game on the day it came out and crushed me in seconds. This was before the internet, so IDK how he even learned everything by noon.

    In 7th & 8th Grade science class our teacher Mr. Richerhardt had EVERY system known at the time in class..     Hidden fatality aside, dood that has to be one of the sickest collections I have seen. I can't even imagine how many thousands (25 bucks from gamestop) of dollars is there.

    I don't have much experience with the Genesis version, but man were we dazzled by Mortal Combat when it first came up the arcades.
