Thanks for watching everyone. If you would like to checkout one of the kits- rhinorescuestore.com/collections/first-aid-kit/products/rhino-rescue-compact-portable-first-aid-kit-for-outdoors
Really appreciate your review of this first aid kit. It’s nice to see the contents up close. I know some like to carry a bandana and gorilla tape and call it good for “first aid” gear. But addressing an injury and actually treating it to prevent further issues are really two different things. I like your suggestions of incorporating a tourniquet and swapping out the plastic tweezers for metal. I also like the inclusion of their ice pack, which when used can curtail a lot of unnecessary swelling and discomfort and also help lower core temperature when a water source isn’t available. For my kits, I like to include aspirin (for heart), a few Benadryl tabs (bite & sting allergies) and a fresnel lens just so I can see ticks, splinters, wound debris etc. more clearly. Great review, Jess! Safe travels, friend!
As part of a former job I had to be Red Cross Certified for both first aid and CPR with regular recertifications. This was due to transporting children, seniors, vets and Developmentally Disabled. I can’t stress the importance of this topic enough for the survival/prepper/bushcraft/outdoor community. Seriously, it is above wild edibles as the first step is get yourself and others out of danger and then check and treat injuries. Followed by inventory check and making a plan.
Thanks for the nice video. I would personally add a collection of assorted plasters for small finger cuts etc although I did see the name 'plasters' on the back of one of the bandage bags that you showed. Great little first aid kit. 👍
I definitely like the kit but personally I don't use ice packs so i would probably remove that and add a CAT tourniquet and some other items definitely a good starter kit if you don't want to start from scratch just make sure you make the kit work for you

Yes - need a tourniquet! Clotting agent also a plus.
Nice kit. I have two laying around at home but never take them with me. Is determined by the size and my laziness.
Have a nice week to you.🤠
🤣🤝
That's a solid kit always good to carry those items with you in the woods! thanks for showing! Greetings 🔥🌲
Looks pretty solid. The metal tweazers (I also have a tick-key on me, works great) and tourniquet was what I had in mind too 👍
Nice kit . Great review
