- In one of the boldest and most pointed videos that we have ever released, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya discusses the reality and nature of evil, as well as how good people can eradicate evil from our lives. Sri Acharyaji is at his frankest, and does not mince words in this interview! Some of the many topics discussed include Richard Wagner and Lord of the Rings; how Luciferianism, Crowleyianism and the Left-Hand Path are diametrically opposed to Dharma; the nature of evil; how to protect yourself from demonic beings; becoming empowered to help save the world; and other similar topics.

I love when Acharyaji talks about paganism in the context of Dharma
You should have him on your channel again. That was a good talk between the two of you.
This channel is the reason I believe in God
For me it started 6 years ago when I as an (indoctrinated) atheist truth seeker saw the value of religion and started understanding the profound deeper meanings in the bible and especially jesus values and behaviour.
I still struggled with christianity, it's history, how the christian establishment in general seemed somewhat flawed to severely perverted.
I also struggled with many christians concept of heaven and hell and it didn't seem true. It seemed so fear based. Be virtous or get punished, for eternity?
When delving into paganism and indoeuropean religions I came into the concept that God loves us (as is claimed by christianity as well) but God wants us to become virtuous and good by our own free will. And how can you really become good if you choose to be good out of fear of being punished?
And it struck me. What purpose does it really serve for a God that loves you to punish you for eternity? You learn that what you did was wrong but you don't get the chance to become good because you are stuck in hell for eternity.
How can such a God love us when I (as an atheist) have more empathy than that God? I would want even the worst psycopath to get the chance to learn to develop empathy. Perhaps this is one reason why many atheists remain atheist.
After watching this channel my thoughts started organizing very quickly and my "belief in a God" started going from doubt to a God I wish to know. The source of all.
That you can only become good by your own free will because you want to, rings much more true than you must chose to be good because otherwise bad things will happen because you are a bad person so don't be a bad person.
That's not free will and it's not compassionate.
Same haha
Upvoting it before I even watch it because I know already it will be good!
Thank you for your faith and trust, PhilosophiCat! This is one of our most important videos yet.
@@DharmaNation They are all important. I don't watch a lot of content on RUclips, but I never miss any of your videos. :-)
PhilosophiCat Uberfolk brought me to this channel a while ago. Thanks for that.
Did not know PhilosophiCat was a Dharmi, now I know why i immediately subbed your channel a few months back 😌
@@fistspirit6841 That's great to hear! George and I are both big fans of Archarya's work.
"All the NPC's out there" 😂😂😂
I understand what it means to not fear demonic beings as I have experienced this in my life with human beings. Now that I also have come to understand what I am it's very reassuring that we need not fear, or hate. Thank you.
Thanks to AJ Hoge I've got aware of you!
You are very wise and charismatic!
Need this man as my teacher!
Couldn't the Odyssey or Iliad be said to be as much a sacred story as the Ramayana?
In so many ways, all of the ancient Indo-European epics can be seen as sacred stories. I know that Acharyaji has read most, if not all, of the ancient epics, and that he derives tremendous inspiration from them all.
Namaste Acharyaji your channel is my favourite channel . I always learn something new from your talks . Jai Sri Krishna
Now that is a spiritual warrior. His chant was like orgone energy to the body, to the spirit.
I'm a Neophyte to spirituality and want to know how to meet like minded people. I'm surrounded by degenerates on a constant basis and often feel alone.
Keep speaking dharmically and with time and patience, Dharmic people will hear your call.
Hi brother your 1st port of call should be a copy of the bhaghavad gita ,if u wish to go further Google Krishna temple's nr to your location most have a weekly programme u can attend with a vegetarian feast, lastly you are never alone when shri Krishna enters your heart, solitude is a great way to further spiritual life good luck hare Krishna.
I had to do a double take when you mentioned NPC’s
Same.
I'd like to say from the bottom of my heart, that I heavily appreciate your words and explanations on this channel. It would be a honor to learn from somebody like You. You restore the veddic teaching reputation, cause in countries with predominantly catholic population like Poland - veddic philosophy and teaching are seen as worthless at best(bad stereotype). I find truth in philosophy explained here which is very alike to philosophy in christian tradition. Unfortunately there are no gurus or schools in my country where I can attend regularly, so it seems only internet left for me...
Jaya sri Rama
Absolutely inspiring video, that brings me home and puts things in perspective, the truth will set you free,om namo bhaghavate vasudevaya,Jai shri Krishna...
Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya thank you for this insightful talk. The part where you touch on the fourth verse of the Bhagavad Gita made my heart feel elavated.
Not only is "Luciferianism" incompatible with Dharma, it is, in my experience, incompatible with those seeking truth. There is simply nothing appealing about it to the anti-materialist. I suspect its superficial draw comes from a misapprehension of Sanata Dharma as a passive religion where we waste away as a hermit, as opposed to the path of, say, an Arjuna, who is will, duty and action without attachment.
Great points, I look forward to learning more from you.
Richard Wagner was highly influence by Arthur Schopenhauer who himself was influence by the Buddha, the Upanishads, and other Dharmic Scripture (Wagner almost compose an Opera base on Ānanda because of his reading of Schopenhauer). If you read Wagner's Religion and Art (and the continuations of the essay) he makes it clear that his goal is to present Art that regenerates Religion. He follows in the footstep of Greek Tradegy to bring the spirit of Human existence on to the stage where we can all be redeem. He belongs with the Christian Mystics who actually want to follow in the footstep in Christ and feel the suffering that was endure on the Cross.
Om sri Vishnu
PhilosiphiCat turned me on to this channel, had no idea you guys were in Austin TX where I live. How can I find out more or perhaps have a talk?

What version/edition of the Bhagavad Gita is he reading from at the end?
This is the version of the Bhagavad Gita that Acharya uses: www.amazon.com/Bhagavad-Gita-Divine-Grace-Bhaktivedanta-Prabhupada/dp/B00H0JYKTQ.
Beat me to the question

Is Sri Acharyaji familiar with the writings of Arthur Schopenhauer? Although Schopenhauer was a flawed character, his writings could be the bridge for those with a western mindset to discover the path of Dharma. His idea of the Will-To-Life is very thought provoking where one questions the profane modern world we live in and goes beyond that into spiritualism. He makes no quarrel in attacking the Abrahmic faiths and praising Dharmic ones (especially Buddhism). He's far superior to Marx and Hegel who are todays university favorites.
I consider Herr Schopenhauer to be my "pre-Guru", if not for him, I never would have found my Dharma.
Very interesting. In my rather 'Gnostic' perception of Germanic Paganism, I have suspected that the 'Eotens' (the old English word for giants) could be so named for they consume human souls and recycle them back into this material ecosystem. Similarly, is Indra's foe Vritra not 'the enveloper'? It seemed to be, in my own studies, that the ego is key to escaping the cycle of incarnation. Is there something Vedic which could offer me new insight upon my own ancestral tradition here, or are they at odds?
