    Yeah dude! Try riding on different surfaces. Sidewalk concrete is usually textured for walking, not sliding. Roads and parking lots are made with a different type of asphalt concrete, typically smoother and more drifty. Also find a paved hill to ride down, even a little slope will release the grip. Wider sleeves are more slippery; you could probably go with 4 inches wide, but you risk cracking the part of the pipe that sticks out from the tire.       ah thanks! makes sense a wider sleeve not supported by the tire would likely crack. glad i didn't attempt. I'm really happy with the results now after changing the seat position. Your slicks did the trick!
