    Considering the cap turnaround and who is still joining, can't we just let them win the offseason again and give them an A+? Schedule release vid was a banger too.

      The receiving core, TEs and Running Backs suck ass. A+ for what? Last I checked, Harbaugh doesn't play on sundays.

      @@kikodougies from -40 million over the cap and the inability to field a roster to 17+ of space and the roster almost full. Every move the chargers made has connection to THE DEEPEST coaching staff in the NFL. And as far as their offensive personnel EVERYONE WAS HURT LAST YEAR LOL 🤣 they were supposed to just overpay and run it back? They did that last year genius🤣🤡

      Agree. Ppl don’t understand what Harbaugh is doing. He’s building an offense like Bill Walsh once did. Remember Walsh said the WRs were the last to be drafted. For those who slam losing those WRs, how did the 2023 Chargers do with them on the roster? Harbaugh is going to field a team that’s going to control the line of scrimmage. Once that’s established skill players can be drafted without paying them $20M

    I think the chargers lack of recievers is being overstated. I have full confidence that at minimum 2 of the guys in that room will have great seasons, no matter who it is, and all of them other than chark are still young, even josh palmer is young. Also, you look at 3 of the top 4 teams in the afc last year. chiefs best receiver was rashee rice and they had no one after that. ravens had zay flowers and obj was after that. texans turned a guy who was unknown into a star but before the season, no one thought they would have a single good receiver. you look at all these teams and their receivers were probably their weakest position at some point in the year. just saying, the chargers lack of receivers is slowly becoming an irrelevant argument when it comes to ranking them with all these other teams

    • @Tui1Hit
      @Tui1Hit 17 дней назад +3

      Agreed. Having a good running game to keep the DB's on their toes guessing and playing close to the line respecting the run game, and the OL be able to hold for Herbert to find open receivers, yes, it's grossly overstated of this team being thin in the receiver unit.

      @@Dietz18 Right. And the Chiefs cant be competitive because all they have is Rice and some bums. and the Ravens stink because they're led by a rookie and an old vet. Oh wait... lolololololol NFL fans are far too obsessed with weapons. Most Super Bowls have been won with defense, run game, and a good qb. Elite WR has never been a requirement and never will be.

      @romeoossogaming6455 bro, o line and being able to run is the key, plus good defense. I was just saying I hope palmer doesn't end up or best wr this year because that's would mean we're pretty weak at that position. I'm all for building in the trenches, that's why I'm not saying to sign another wr, I'm just saying I hope some of the ones we drafted end up better than palmer

    When you consider that they acquired TE Will Dissly; one of 3 players in the NFL who Own the 'C' Gap. With Slater & Alt we will also Own the 'B' Gap. With Nick Hardwick coaching the O-Line we will atleast Rent the 'A' Gap, our Offense will be just fine.

    Mike Williams was never on the field, how is letting him go a bad thing. He wasn't on the field before, and he won't be now. Same/same. Allen was starting to miss time and was also catching a bug called "The Drops"). Last season he did well, but I remember him dropping a pass at the 1 and another in the endzone. All these losses by one score, that 2 games might have been helpful. Then you're assuming the young WRs can't improve, yet history has shown many of the all-time best and even HOF WRS sucked their first yar, conversely, lots of Also-rans" started out as The Big Name WR. I find most of these so-called football experts always just predict what happened last year. Team was good last year, they predict they will be again, a QB sucked last year, they predict the same. They never really say anything of content. There was a reason QJ was a 1st round pick and considered so by most the NFL. Most also consider McConkey to be a 1st that fell into the second and if this were a regular draft, probably and early 1st. A new Def coordinator can make a huge difference all on its own. The Chargers got a good one. Strength and conditioning coach, Chargers have one of the best and with their history of keeping players on the field, that can't be stressed enough.
    So basically, you think the Chargers should have kept senior citizen K. Allen and the -Chandelier- Mike Williams, with that you probably think they should have kept the paying way too much for meh talent GM or the "Def. Genius" HC too, right?
    It's like, do either of you actually even watch this game or do you just repeat what you hear?

    Herbert deserved a better receiving core. Ladd had 500 yards and 2tds in the sec while missing games. And people think he’s gonna dominate the NFL!? Like you guys mentioned, the OC has had running QBS, not so much with Herbert. Drafting a RT at 5 overall will prove to be a mistake, relatively early.

      Aside from Lamar, Baltimore had great success at running the football with their running backs. They emphasized building the oline better, which I can understand. Better run game, better online will help close out those games like the Jags L where we couldn't run the ball. Herbert doesn't have to play Hero anymore. Better OLine will give Herbert more time to throw the ball and more time for the WRs to get open. Josh Palmer is still a stud, QJ is in his second season (Mike Williams had a terrible 1st year but look how he's regarded now). The WR room is extremely young, but I finally believe we have solid coaching for once.
