- Everyone is talking about this little chicken coop. If you are looking for a quick start up for a very small flock or needing options for a grow out coop or even for emergency moments (they happen!), this is a great option. I feel it's a great consideration for the price especially if you could modify it and keep it from the elements. All of these things are something to think about and the goal is simply to show you more options for all your chickens adventures. Enjoy & thanks for watching!

hello we have had this one for over 2 yr's and so far its working well
If you are considering buying one, that is high praise indeed.
looks doable. great starter set
Know a number of backyard chicken folks who own one and they LOVE it. The one end door they open so the hens go into a 20 foot long fenced side and top area with the same mesh wire for the enclosed fenced area.
I love that you waltzed right in there and did a vlog on the floor of Cosco. LOL You're awesome!
Cheers for this, been searching for "chicken enclosures for sale" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Machaaldity Coop Blaster - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my colleague got great success with it.
I love it. It's perfect to start with. I've seen the same one at Tractor Supplies.
Mine is almost identical. I have an EcoFlex. It's called the Fremont coop. Made out of durable plastic, I had to make some changes though. Always make sure the hardware cloth is a good quality, not thin like fishing line, and make sure you have a way to secure all entry points to protect from predators. I paid $309.00 for mine, but no maintenance and no wood rot, ever
Looks like a good isolation coop for sick or new chickens to protect your flock...........
Your delivery is certainly a flashback to your TV days!
I have two of these for my quail. I built a raised platform and put wire mesh on the bottom. Works great. Would be too small for my hens. The one thing to watch out for with these houses is the roof. They spring a leak easily and the wood is pretty thin. One is on the third year and it is now leaking. I had to put roofing shingles on it.
I have one I bought last year and it was like $230 from Amazon. I'm going to house the roosters in it. Also, I'll use it for broody hens and move the roosters if I have one go broody.
I would put maybe 2 hens in there at best honestly
Ya gotta love Costco!
Very cute tfs
That actually looked like a nice little coop, could maybe even use it as a tractor and move it around to put the chickens on fresh grass/bugs every week.
+BigggRoss Know people who have back yard flocks that do that with little effort.
I got myself a great deal of $151 this same chiken coop!😊👌
This is not the best deal, but you can use this for chicks, I've one but not this big... it's not great as the predators can still get into it. You can make it sturdy by adding 2x4s .. and use it for chicks.. just like you said.. 😊
👍👌❤
Thank you! I do need another broody coop.......😏
That looks like it would be great to divide my silkies into little flocks by color or however. So did you end up getting one? One of my silkies just started laying. So yours should be getting ready to soon. I think I was about a month ahead of you. Still working on my Silkie flock. Trying to find more good hens.
Flat roof? Wouldn't that be prone to leaking if someone did want to use it outside? Otherwise, it's really cute. Sadly, no Costco here.
get it on line they ship
This one is similar to the one we bought to start our four chickens in. Nice coop and relatively easy to maintain. Easier for the kids than for the grownups to handle.
We do find that the chickens prefer to sleep in the nesting box as it is slightly higher than the perches. I think that is why quite some poop ends up in the nesting box. Do you have any experience with that?
FYI... this design (or very similar) on ebay is selling for 151+tax with s/h included! ...and theres no membership fee.
I wonder if you can still get it 2022
Does costco sell small forks and rakes and knee pads?
cool
We have one for a rabbit
Is this coop still available through Costco? That's an awesome price! I would get a membership just for this!
I'm curious. would this work for quail???
when will you post more up date miss you
we don't have one in our area..
could I ask question please ? looking for incubator with Turner for 6..12 eggs.. I was told Amazon but all I could find was large ones..thanks..

Totally bummed none of the Utah Costco's carry this😩
I can't find this on Costco website?
Hmm..
do you have to let them out of the enclosed wire area or can they eat and hang out in there all the time?
It depends if you want them to free-roam or not.
