Casually asking Are you single?
@@Who_Wants_My_Meat69have to make it weird, don't you.
@@Who_Wants_My_Meat69Are you single?
No, it just means that the lyrics are really weird or NSFW but we rarely notice because the tune has us hooked.
almost all are translated wrong - Hindi songs use different edioms , phrases , poetry lines and their meaning is different in different situations
@@Ankitcse913 watch lyricists talk about how since even the 50s and 60s the song's have been very intentionally written with a double meaning. It's just that the poetry of hindi/urdu allows for these things to be written in such a beautiful 'innocent' manner that you can make sound all sweet and romantic but also have a sexual meaning to them. I remember an interview about the song "Jhumka gira re" describing the lines "saiyaa aye naen jhukae ghar me chori chori, bole jumka me phena dun baaki chori...till jhumka gira re hum dono ki takraar me".
@@divyak9980what’s wrong with jhumka song honestly? Doesn’t it express how people would actually drop hints back in those days?
@@divyak9980I have many collections of poems written with one intention, but when I used to read it without context they would mean very different
@@Kathakathan11 so lost on how you've understood that i am saying something is wrong about the jhumka song
Oh wow! Someone finally recommended this. 😂
This is what we mean when we say that our sex scenes are basically replaced by songs
Yea ppl are like these days films are vulgar but they clearly haven't heard these songs 😂
😂😂
You should see her literal translation of tamil songs....because.....tamil lyrics are ANOTHER LEVEL OF 'you know what'
Listen Bhojpuri songs , you don't need to find hidden meaning, it's all there without covering 😂
And you will definitely laugh and enjoy too😎🤣
bhojpuri songs are wild dene gana gacha gach lol
It’s all fun and games but most of them are funny because they are translated directly, without any poetic license, for example “jigar” which translates to liver, could be used to portray heart. Also some of them were made to insinuate double meanings since we didn’t used to have much physical intimacy in Indian movies. And that’s what made them fun. Coz everybody knew they were scandalous lyrics but since they were approved for public consumption, you could sing and dance to them without shame. It’s just like there’s a lot of sex in India but it’s all subtly hidden behind the garb of culture. And I mean that in a nice way. Which makes talking about things related to physical relationships easier. Instead of straight taboo. Language plays a strong role in that, and that’s why we have so many different synonyms and adjectives, unlike the limited supply of English. Oh well, it’s not the first time this topic has come up, just with social media now it’s getting more views.
Yes Jigar also means heart
@@Kathakathan11 thank you for your confirmation!
Jigar means liver, metaphorically means something close to heart
Thats the whole point of translating "literally"
The first line of the song 'choli ke peeche kya hai' was translated in all languages around India (also in tamil) and tried to ask the hidden things. But it meant different as per the situation in the movie.
Was waiting for 'Teri Nani Mari Toh Main Kya Karoon' from Coolie No. 1. That one stayed with me for years. 🤣
'Nani Marna' is a Hindi idiom if you don't/didn't know.
@@tweetmemes5015 we are talking about 'literal translation'
I feel like Rick is really a dirty person 😂...a lot more than Korbin.
Korbin is more Sanskari & Gentle man than Rick. I have noticed this in many videos.
Yesss hes so naughty 😂🥵
@@D_Thing You haven't watched the early videos then. Korbin just toned it down because people started complaining.
Such a homely girl, always does her chores.
You have seen a bit of that exercise song in pretentious reviews, where they roasted the hell out of the movie. The movie is called Prem Aggan.
Our songwriters are NAUGHTY 😂 so many dual meaning lyrics
She changed my perception towards Bollywood songs ..😭
lol ,its just a direct translation of the idioms or metaphors.
Like " elephant in the room ". You dont take it for literally 😂😂
I actually watched her same short over 100th time now and it never gets boring ❤❤😂
literal translation of 'break a leg' is break a leg.
but actual means all the best
I had a nice time watching this reaction :)
She is a great singer too
Just imagine literal translation of Bhojpuri songs 😂
and pakistani punjabi mujras.
The fun is in google translator. 😂 It is like google maps which sometimes leads folks into wilderness
Most Bollywood song are in Hindi but with Urdu words in them which people don't understand so they just check out of the lyrics and go with the vibe. Its almost becomes like mumble rap 😂😂
She is in London I like her videos alottt
Finally everyone is enjoying this😂😂😂😂
I saw this about a month ago. Pure genius...
There also many songs with good and beautifull lyrics !! You should react on that too!!! These are not the famous songs !!! Except some !!!
😂😂😂😂 what ohhh god it's hilarious 😂😂
Oh lala oh lala le me oh na na oh na na🤣🤣🤣
rofl, that was hilarious 😆🤣
At first it was funny but then as the playlist continued the lyrics highlighted a similar theme.
in the intro pun korbin groaning sounded like a xenomorph
Plz make 2 nd part of it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
She cracks me up everytime
It's all fun, but do remember, that the literal translation is different from the context of the song...
for example "kudiyon ko daale daana" had the right literal translation but in context, the song is comparing the girls to the birds and the guy s someone who throws grains to the birds, making the birds flock to him.
hence the title of the video: literally translating hindi songs. It's not too deep
@@ayanchoudhury6697 there is actually , i found an example in the comment just above this thread , so yea it's not about digging too deep but more about to establish something so a few of the problems can be sorted out
Jose is the way to go when it comes to misheard and missed songs 😁
Yes absolutely
Most of them are actually the exact meaning
That was amazing😂😂
Finally!
Which is why songs in the 50s and 60s had lyrics and soul
Bidi Jalayile is a song on Farmer's bad life their daily challenges and all.
Listen the Lyrics closely
I have been following your channel for a very long time but i havent seen you ever reviewing a Govinda movie. He was the king of comedy in India when he was at his peak and i would like you to just review one movie of his called "haseena maan jayegi" which has sanjay dutt as well. You will not be disappointed.
I have watched all her videos....
How do you make pizza?
You bacon it. ;P
Aap jaisa koi meri zindagi mein aaye to baap ban jaaye😂😂😂😂😂 that would be the best translation (if someone like you enters my life he will become a dad) for Google wouldn't be able to distinguish between baat and baap in this song.
It's baat ban jaye not baap
The "Exercise" song is the one from Prem Agan , ie the "Beautiful Pain" movie from pretentious reviews you guys reacted to
@6:50, you've already heard that 'Exercise Song.' When you reacted to Pretentious Movie Review of that film - Prem Aggan.
❤ from India 🙏
Govinda's MERI MARZI would easily top this list
I was expecting Akshay Kumar's hookah bar song. Also, this reminds me of the hilarious misheard lyrics. The Prabhu deva ones were especially very funny.
This PERFECTLY highlights the high context vs low context culture theory which says that eastern cultures tend to be highly context dependant and require cultural knowledge for effective communication while western cultures tend to be low context and have direct communication
There are certain love ❤️ expressions in India 🇮🇳 which are completely alien to western world and can never be translated because u can only translate words not emotions
Its called sexism..
Korbin!!!! Bombay talkies episodes!!!and Rendezvous with Rekha’s next episode plzzz!!!!!!
Real meaning behind songs are different ..... like choli ke pichhe and some others it's totally different meaning from translation
thats y it is called item song. These are PG rated songs
Before see this video, I thinked that bollywood songs are sanskari..... 😮😢
Imagine Hearing Vairamuthu Tamil Lyrics.
a south indian's reaction on KUNDI MAT KHADKAO RAJA song is necessary then🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm now 100% sure Indrani doesn't provide any context to any of these.
I am going to quit listening to Hindi songs from now on, my entire childhood is a lie, or I am the stupid one among all.
But hold on why am I focusing on such songs there are many songs out there which have very beautiful meanings for example our patriotic songs beat all other language songs isn't it. And the songs by Gulzar how can I forget them they are real gems not these are 🤔 though.
Wow! I follow Sanae! She's great! so cool someone recommended this,
They doesn't look that bad in hindi😂
We all know latthay di chaadar in weddings😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😆😆😆😆
15% songs were intentional, rest were simple translation error (some time intentionally).. In Hindi a word can be had different meanings, for example the word "jaan" can have 3 meanings (1) life (2) Know (3) Beloved and many times Nouns in Hindi is used as Adjectives.
Now someone translate WAP ( Cardi B ) and Unholy ( Sam Smith ) in Hindi please.
Oh bhai saab😂😂
Some of them are not even really that bad even when you literally translate them. She really overreacts on some of these.
My god i won't wonder if some songs have such meaning..,
This is jointed double half apples special
The video was fun....but misleading... Literal translation can be even more funny
For ex... Kabhi neem neem kabhi shahad shahad ...will be 'sometimes neem neem sometimes honey honey'
Some words she add wrong translate chunri word she translate skirt. Makhna is punjabi word mean buddy
Literal translation of "Makhna" is in fact buttery. Also "Mere pyaar ka rass zara chakhna", the meaning is clear there.
@@blahblahblah5924 rass mean juice
@@navneetkumardutt8996 I know.
😂
Some of these songs r weird in hindi too😂😂
this channel took a weird turn
words had different meaning in hindi but after translation it looks double meaning joke lolzz😂
Indrani is right about that song.
We were not allowed to sing that song, or play it in our house.
It was a "bad" song back then.
Please review movie Mangal Pandey the rising and songs
*Those are actual translation, that means the words have same meaning in Hindi as shown in English.*
11:44 , 10:14 , 6:42 , 11:59 song names ??
Khada hai khada hai
Rick said In the morning 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sorry Guys I was a lover of Hindi songs since the 90's post meaning each and every word it's wired to me 😂😂 as a double meaning
One song stuck in mind for long quafirana song and this translate in hindi dharmdrohi 😂😂 karachiwood
I think "jigar" means heart not liver 😂
It means Liver. I suppose some cultures (Persian, Afghan), give the same figurative meaning to the liver that we do to the heart or mind.
Ohk🥹😶
These foreign reaction channels fake their reaction. The more these channels praise indian content , The more views and positive feedback they get and free money too.
almost all these songs are under rated and least listened
See what you've been missing by not knowing the Hindi language . . . . !
Who who honey sing Tamil song 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉
Jigar is liver? Wtf?
Great comedy even if it is bullshit.
Put seeds on girl is just word to word translate it is proverb it means he is flirting with girls.
Translation kill soul of songs.
Even more when not done by poets.

it is not indian songs... it's just hindi songs! i cant hear any other languages. do anyone feel the same?
it is disappointing ..
Naah bro you’re the only one I feel
@@udaykhosla2616you must be a Hindi guy !
Chapris still think whole India is defined by hindi or copywood so can't expect more
Mf most of the songs are Hindi/punjabi
South Indian songs just started gaining traction and that too not much
Translation of Hindi songs why title indian songs?
Those aren't Indian songs, specifically Bollywood.
man that woman on video was annoying
