- God, I’m so emotional right now. I don’t know if what I’m writing will do any justice towards what Alexa has brought to my life. I have a bit of anxiety thinking about having a daughter that’s over 18 now and it’s scary but it’s beautiful at the same time. I’m so so lucky to call her father. What a crazy journey we’ve had these past couple years. 😫🔥

I’m not gonna lie I was hella scared when I became a father. So all these thoughts are coming back to me. The thoughts that I had when I was 17-18 years old and wondering what the hell am I going to do with this child that I have now? 🤔🔥

I was already a father at her age y’all. It really trips me out to be completely honest

I think right now I’m just trying to figure out how to be there for them not just emotionally but financially and I think life is just moving in such a unique way for me that it’s shocking to know she’s 18 and new adult things need to be taught to her so she can survive in this crazy world

I just think being an adult in 2022 is different from being an adult 20 years ago

I woke up this morning and did our tradition of singing happy birthday in the morning. I am holding back tears as I write this because I’m very emotional right now and I’m just really proud of her. I feel like sometimes I want to share more in front of her but it’s hard for me to

I don’t know if our dynamics will change now that she’s an adult but I do hear that it does for some parents. I’m excited for her because I know she’s a hell of a hustler and she doesn’t give up

Life, please be kind to her, but let her learn what she needs to learn so she can thrive

Happy birthday alexa this is crazy. For me, I'm at the age where my arm is healthy enough to return to year round athleticism. However if I let enough time go by I can turn fluffy real quick!!
