DAVID BARTON, can i ask question, what is the indication of placing a pt. on AVAPS or pressure control ventilation on non invasive ventilation. ? and what if you put the pt. on v60 and you didn't Click The MODE and chose any of the CPAP or ST MODE , PC and AVAPS what mode is the v60 machine ventilating ?
guys I just want to ask how many of you have experience using this on trach patient? is it advisable? to clear the scenario, a trach patient who have spont breathing but have muscle weakness.

AVAPS = Volume Support, rather than PRVC which is hybrid PC/VC Assist Control.
