Autel, You're really pushing the Evo 2 but I can barely find any information on the pro. I think you need to step up your marketing and do it fast.

Couldn't agree more, hardly anything in the UK. Push that promotion, it's a helluva drone. Hoping to buy the pro in February 21.
dude, i thought i was the only one! i only see like a few youtubers reviewing it or talking about it, and even then when you search on youtube about this drone, it always comes up with the 8k version! its literally 3 people who have done reviews about this but version its about 8 months old and the rest of the people are just doing unboxing , or showing how it crashed, hell you cant even really find any cinematic 4k or 6 footage, its a bunch of 4k 60 frame or 30 frame auteur stuff! and its 2021
Guys, your drones look so good. But your website, videos, and marketing are just bad in comparison with DJI. You can have a better drone, but that does not matter everything..
Yes it matters to the consumer that they get a better drone for the money and better tech capabilities. Word of mouth and youtube videos will sell this easily. It just takes longer to ramp up sales but thats fine for Autel as they are fine tuning the evo 2 still. They have been releasing new firmware updates just about monthly and the autel explorer app update released in June 2020 is very nice layout and settings options and intelligent flight modes. RUclips reviews and just great feedback from people who have bought the evo 2 is what is pushing this drone to the consumer
But how about customer support? DJI has the worst customer support ever in my opinion which is HUGE for a company. That is far more detrimental than marketing which can easily be improved on by hiring a quality marketing firm.

You won't be disappointed. I bought the evo2 8k and it is phenomenal. Dji who? AUTEL ROBOTICS EVO 2 IS THE NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN. This drone or should I say fully autonomous flying camera is hands downs better than even any of the DJI $2,000.00 to $5,000.00 pro work type drones for a fraction of the cost. 3 cameras to swap out. 8k, 6k, flir. I mean come on. DJI fanboys are butthurt about this release and dji had to hult release of the mavic 3 because evo 2 and even skydio smack it around when comparing tech and capabilities. Good choice on the purchase of your evo 2 and have fun with it bro
Bought two and one was deflective off of the shelf! You could not control camera settings with the navigation dial! Paired it with my 8K remote and it was the bird and not the controller! They ignored multiple messages. Had to send it back to B&H Photo. The 8K is just...Ok. The bird itself is fantastic if you can stand the arrogance of their customer service. I lost a customer for a real estate shoot. I needed the 1" sensor of the 6K Pro for the shoot! Going to return everything I can now including the Live Deck! New CEO is not doing such a hot job! You have to wonder if they are in trouble and will in the future keep commitments on warrantee! I hate DJI but oh well! What a let down. Managed to take photos and the camera took fantastic shots...What I needed but.... Defective and they would NOT respond after 3 days and multiple messages! We were going to by 10 of the Evo 2 pro's for our 107 Flight school!
Sichuan is one of my FAV provinces in China! I realised I still have so much to explore there! Amazing to see it with great drone camera!

Gotta be honest, ya'll lost me on the 5th "flying in a straight line" shot....Not even a slight yaw movement, gimbal tilt or elevation change? Pretty dull intro that didn't make me want to finish the video :/ In my opinion those first 1-3 shots have to be the most captivating and powerful in your bag...fly low, get some close proximity stuff, etc. However 6K video, 9km range and 40min flight time are nice.
Very good his videos I follow him for a long time and thanks to his sacrifice he gets the drones to do the tests I bought and paid mine to autel pilot 15 days ago with the promise that they would deliver it to me in my hands in 5 days and first they sent me a tracking number that was not real and then they sent me one that I think is real but it was created and the box was never delivered to the carrier they play with people's time and money I'm anxious to get mine from another company to implement their advice Thank you for helping those of us who started this beautiful hobby

ummm. most of that didnt look 5k on my 5k screens. mavic 2 pro in 10 bit log with -3 sharpness looked less mushy than that. maybe youtube compressed it all? maybe focus was off? maybe nd filter wasnt good glass? also noticed slow rolling shutter in many shots.
Agreed! This is really disappointing. As is the 8k footage I've seen as well. Looks over-sharpened and very 'digital'. I'm an Evo1 owner, but not sure I'll be upgrading now.

The real question is, are you ever going to get this series of drones to market, i mean it was announced in JANUARY, and pushed back to MARCH, and it is already almost MAY, I understand the virus is affecting the world right now, but thats embarassing how long its taken, are we really more likely to see a mavic 3 in August before you start shipping??? what a big fail

When make autel evo mini in 2021
Just watched on my 5K monitor, and...it's quite bad quality. A lot of artifacts that I hope it's just the youtube compression (would be nice to get a downloadable sample). But in every horizontal shots you can notice high vibrations on camera
Is a 1080 video so yeah in a 5K screen it has to look bad...
The image quality sucks.
I agree RUclips doesn't serve it's purpose very well at all.
@@jjdevega Besides RUclips's compression, this doesn't even look like it's recorded at 6K resolution in my opinion. My Phantom 4 Pro videos in 4K look better than this video here.

Looks pretty darn good to me! I mean really beautiful. Trying to find a reason to not buy another DJI drone.
Really disappointed by this footage. It looks like a cell phone. Way too much sharpness and very mushy. I hope that the people who pre-ordered this can demonstrate that it's possible to get better footage out of it.
Autel should offer us their supporters a trade in for a EVO 2. I even started with an X-Star Premium.
Why? The drone is a little over $1K US, You haven't made your money back yet? This is what happens when you invest in technology, try renting next time...

East Coast Drones first, no need for name calling, grow up. Secondly, a trade in? This is technology, it is always improving, you should know this. Lastly, very few companies offer a trade in, what the heck do they want with your old drone. If your in business, think about how long it takes for your ROI.

Dji is accepting anything as a trade in phone drone tablet cameras. But the values are trash better off selling on eBay or other market place.

Incredible drone as soon as I have a software update to run hyperlapse I have no doubt that sales will go up I haven't bought this drone for this reason yet, but I thought it was wonderful! I live in Brazil.
6K camera is pretty pointless considering most people don't even have 4K TV's or Monitor Screens

I bought the 6k evo pro, can you add the dronie mode? i can't to compare to dji but it's super useful as a quickshot mode.
I just pre-ordered the 6k bundle from Wellbots and was wondering what ND Filters you are using & where I can order ND filters for the 6k cam? Thanks
You may not need it for the 6K, it has adjustable iris control
The adjustable iris will help with shutter speed, but every lens has a sweet spot for sharpness, usually two stops up from wide open, so ND filters will be nedded to get both optimum iris and shutter speeds together, not to mention need for polarizer filter on some shots.

I ordered through Autolpilots.com about a week ago and they are shipping my Evo 2 Pro Rugged Bundle today! Give or take shipping delays do to the COVID19 estimated 10 to 15 days from shipment.
Would be nice to see more end of day/ low light footage. Day time landscapes can look sharp and nice even with an entry 500$ drone nowadays.

I own the Evo 1, very happy with it, but to be honest everyone is totally seeing a repeat of that release fiasco. So what do you seriously expect your customers to put up with again. …. and again....and again.
They would of totally released it on time if it wasn't for this world Pandemic we are currently experiencing.

Lol! No it won't dude. Evo has a good way to go before it reaches the Mavic 2 status in terms of software and hardware.
@@christianpesox The "status" is very subjective. Most people care about image quality and sensors. Evo 2 pro is the first real competitor in many years.

I hope that it's just a Firmware thing and the overall video image are gonna get better cause i don't see any improvement over a Mavic Pro or a Phantom 4 Pro...well...let say that i was expecting better from the "latest technologies" but maybe my expectation were too high...

was more like the reduction from 6k to something YT won't compress to hell and back.. They should post the origs, but they'd still have to render at 4K since most viewers have no 6K res displays
@@miketipton678 well..as a "potential buyer" who is looking at video like this one in order to take a decision to bought the new Evo 2 or not,i can only judge and make a opinion based on what i see...and since it's coming from Autel Robotics,i kinda "take for granted" that they know what they are doing and they post the best achievable quality video with there new product...if they don't...then it's a big mistake on their part
@@colddarknight666 biggest thing Autel has going is the fact it has no flight restriction in the software. PIC is the one accountable, not the drone. The other great point is that Autel does much better with Android, and DJI is in bed with Apple. Video quality is hard to judge, and I did the same with my M2P which many said sucked... based on the videos I saw it had problems too, but not as much a deal breaker. Evo2 has supposed 44 min flight time (probably 38) more options for mission planning, more video and photo options, interchangeability, and no flight restrictions. As much as it is not really a big deal to some, I know here surrounded by small airports sometimes in use, and other times not, DJI flight even with LAANC can be a pita. I can send the Evo up, get my job done, and be on my way to the next job before I get an auth code for my M2P. Pluses and minuses in all... I'm no fanboy of one or the other.
@@miketipton678 I currently have 8 drones,all DJI,i fly all of them using the same ipad that is always on airplane mode and i use the same old version of DJI Go 4 app,i never do any update ( if it's not broken,do fix it ), and for some reason,i never have any restriction zone problems,not even once,i don't know why.I did had a bunch of them when i was using my Phantom 3 Pro with the DJI Go app so i've to agree with you,the no flight restriction zone is gonna be a big deal for some peoples.
My biggest drones is a Inspire 2 with a X5s so maybe my "video standard" have become too high that i can't judge other video and have a objective view anymore.
Because it's a "fresh new technologies",i was expecting the new Evo 2 Pro to crush the Phantom 4 Pro in video image quality,we are gonna have to wait a bit to find out but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.
But sure,the EVO 2 Pro should sell well because of is overall "package".

I can't experience 6K here cuz you didn't upload in even 4K~ Im on an iMAC 5K Retina so I would love to be close enough to 6 to watch this but alas.. no... Thank you AUTEL for keeping your NFZ status like in the EVO 1 and adding the Gimbal swap... Great for pros that don't need to buy separate rig thermal setups.. I loved the EVO 1 but problem was using it as a professional drone I couldn't link to a lot of software or apps to fly certain types of flights or missions since most were DJI only .. hopefully this will change with the EVO 2.. Hurry and let us buy it already
My iMac 5K Retina givesme the choice to view as 5K, 4K, 2K, 1K, etc. Gigabit speed needed to avoid dropping frames at 5K.

You guys really dropped the ball on this release! You really need to restructure your business and get some better employees in, and that goes for engineering all the way up to the C-Suite. Could of released this drone a couple months ago when you 1st announced it, but here we are in mid April with nothing. On top of that, DJI just filed new FCC docs for their new Mavic Air 2! You guys could of came out with no competition whatsoever, but you guys fucked that up and here you are now having to compete with the upcoming DJI Mavic Air 2. USA citizens are getting stimulus checks in, and a good business would of seen that and tried to get this drone out so Americans can use that $1,200 towards your drone, but you guys fucked that up as well.
For anybody that wants to start a drone business, look to Autel for what NOT to do and you should be fine.
DON'T BUY THIS DRONE.
