great idea for a cheap groundsheet but water will make its way in since the ground sheet normally sits on a lip inside the bivvy to seal the base from water and draft
@@TrickyCarping so to make it so the water does not run in how do I do that I saw in another video they cut inside the line will that do or do you suggest something different has iam going to use the shelter etc has part of my travel gear
I tell you what...I'm umming and arring over buying that bivvy and there is another choice of another I'm contemplating. Any way back to the goundsheet.....A stirling idea. I was going to suggest a couple of ideas to strengthen the eyelets points....BUT! at £7.50.......forget it.....cracking tip there.. cracking.
Made one myself for my easy shelter, probably not as good as yours. Can't understand why fox don't offer to sell one, cost them peanuts to make in the far east and we would be happy to forty or fifty quid.

Thanks for watching
What size groundsheet did you buy please?
Great idea for a cheap groundsheet, I mounted it with self-adhesive Velcro tape inside the bivouac to seal the base from water and drafts.

No doubt it will if it’s raining mate, but all you would have to do is put the groundsheet on the inside of the bivvy like a standard groundsheet
Meanwhile, Nash want £170 for one! Thanks for posting this
The price may have gone up by a pound or two since I made this video.. but still like you say, a HUGE HUGE saving, thanks for watching buddy 👌
I'll be making one of these at weekend brilliant video
Good idea. I hardly ever use my ground sheet. Only the odd times in winter to keep me a little warmer. But hey can not grumble for 7.50. Well in lad

Good idea for such little price aren’t they, groundsheets aren’t cheap nowadays
That doesn't want to be an easy bivvy to erect mate😂😂
Get a bivvy n not a tent it will come with a proper ground sheet. Simples
Not always buddy you must know that! Nash Titan hide, one of the latest bivvies on the market and doesn’t come with a groundsheet
