Also FWIW I found my productivity increased whne I replaced many of my 8-continuous-hour work days with, say, 4 hrs and then 2 hrs later on, etc. Mental breaks, distractions, coming back with a new refreshed eye, and so on.

Breaking a world record like that isn't Nobel prize level achievement, I think you already know this. Second you talk of tesla getting money but they have only received one government loan which they've already paid with interest. ALL other forms of government help you could attribute to them are just standard practice things, that everyone in tesla's position gets. It also is dwarfed by the actual costs of operation for the company, it's not as if the government money made elon rich as you seem to be implying. ALL that money was just a drop in the bucket. Lastly spacex has never received any government loans and the other forms of government money they get have actually already begun to get huge returns on investment for the government. A Spacex launch is 3 to 4 times cheaper for the American government(aka tax payer like you and me) than their competition. The difference is so drastic that using spacex instead saves the government so much money that the payload is paid for and then some by the cost savings of using spacex. There is no way you can twist this to say spacex is taking advantage of the government, unlike their competition that gets 1b a year weather they launch anything for the government or not, spacex has to actually provide a service to be paid. Under contracts with strict rules and regulations, where as ULA can just do nothing, pay all employees with the 1b and still have millions in profit, yeah spacex is really taking advantage of the government huh?
