    GIRL !! I am so glad to have found your channel! SO interesting to watch - I am also making a handmade slow fashion brand but based in East London, England. Such a rollercoaster isn't it! I've had a peek at your website and the garments look incred. Love the linen co-ords!! Well done on selling out so soon. I hope to launch by the end of this year but still in the pattern construction stage ! xxxxxx

    Omg! I’m also launching my own! I started selling handmade scrunchies and when I get that small hint of how to run an online store I thought it’s time to move forward! I wanted to branch out more and sell my handmade clothes!!

    Loved this video, it's a great breakdown
    I was wondering how you decided on a size chart chart for your garments?

    • @monicarazak
      @monicarazak  3 года назад

      Thank you so much! I based my sizing chart off of other major sustainable brands (Ref, Everlane, etc). I also polled some of my friends and followers to see what sizes they typically fit into along with their body measurements:)

    The part where you're talking about inclusive sizing, I'm just gonna tell you now that you are absolutely going to exhaust yourself making an entire inventory of each clothing item in addition to custom sizing. Remember you are only one person. If you had a team, it would be a bit different, but I think for the sake of your mental health you should consider just choosing one method or the other. Either custom sizing or pre-made sizing, not both. Great ideas tho! Best of luck! :)

      TOTALLY. Since putting out this video I've definitely prioritized custom sizing for online orders. I recently started doing more in-person pop-up shops and for those I make generic XXS-3XL sizes. Definitely takes a lot of time and energy, but it works for now:)
