Thank you so much!! I used Americolor Chocolate Brown and Warm Brown mixed together. I find one is too dark, the other too light, but together they work well!
Adorable cookies. I have a question about the squiggles you pipe in the small spaces of the candy cane, etc. to prevent cratering. Do you wait a certain amount of time after piping the squiggles before filling those areas in?
Thank you! I usually do the squiggles and then flood right away. Some people wait for it to dry, but I find if I do that, sometimes when I go to flood I break the squiggle by accident with my tip or my scribe and then have little bits of hard icing floating around, so I prefer to do it right away when it hasn't dried yet.
How do the squiggles prevent cratering, and do you only do that in small areas suck as the candy cane and ribbon on the gift? I just recently took a cookie decorating class so I'm learning.
I am wondering if you have a frosting tutorial on how to make the frosting that you're using every time I try to make it it never comes out good enough
Here is my icing recipe and my consistencies. The recipe is written in the description of the video. And yes, I do have instagram, same name as here 🥰 ruclips.net/video/L5mVKZnTqac/видео.html
Beautiful..How do you keep the black frosting (eye pupils) from bleeding into the whites of the eyes as it dries? Also I made white polar bears & bought black sugar pearls for the eyes & the black of the sugar pearls bled into the white of the polar bear as it dried. How do prevent the bleeding of the colors?
I heard there are a certain type of black pearl sprinkles that don't bleed (just don't remember which ones). I just use my icing for those details though. I always add white gel colour to my icing when I make, no matter what colour it will be after. I consider a part of my ingredients for my icing. It helps with bleed a lot! And I find the fresher the icing the better. So try and do them the first few days that you've made your icing!
I really like the rectangle with hanging ornaments. Simple and clean with so many options!
Thanks so much! 😊

@@LittleCookieCo thanks for replying so quickly! Flooding directly after makes a lot of sense….for the reasons you mentioned. Thank you!

Yes, you usually do it in small or narrow areas as that's normally what craters. If in doubt I just do it because better safe than sorryA
Love🙃
Thanks!!

Is your flood and outline the same?
No I use 2 consistencies, you can see them in my icing tutorial near the end of this video ruclips.net/video/L5mVKZnTqac/видео.html

@@LittleCookieCo thank you so much for your very helpful reply.
You're welcome!
Do you use the same icing for lining and flooding?
I use 2 different consistencies. I show how I make them in my royal icing tutorial near the end! ruclips.net/video/L5mVKZnTqac/видео.html
I always have colour bleeding, any advice? Please 🙏🏼
Add white colour to your icing when you make it and always try and use fresh icing!
Plz You put chocolate or Icing Sugar
These are decorated with royal icing. You can find my recipe here: ruclips.net/video/HxGBClkllNE/видео.html
