@@irideaduck939 Nice! Was thinking it was just me. But I think it's a major problem for lots of people that do drops/freeride/freestyle. In one of my comps the whole line up that was waiting for their start was popping Ibuprofen for shin bang, lol. Enevitably if I'm pushing my limits I occasionally land back seat or end up skiing like a back seat jerry. So my goal has been to try and get my landings statistically normalized. Meaning I should be landing forward 33% of the time, stomp it 33% of the time, and back seat 33% of the time. Then hopefully I can get that more weighted to the stomp category over time. My mistake early season was I was landing 50% back seat and 50% stomp. Which limited my ability to progress and most likely my shin bang.
The fossil chutes were the only double black I skied in my one day at snowbird last year! (I’m better now, would prob ski more). But in the tight section, I was taking it cautious and just had to make one good turn… and during that turn my ski popped off! Later I found out one ski was set wrong and was at 3.5 din, so a ski shop error stopped me from stomping it 😐 Anyways, fond memories, love the channel, keep it up!
Nice work! Fossil chutes are no joke. Let me know how it goes next year. I'm sure the right din setting will help. I had a buddy do the same thing, he accidentally set them on the lowest setting, then he jumped turned right above a 8ft cliff in a chute and both his skis just jumped off his feet. He ended up going head first off the cliff and sliding down the whole chute. 😱
Looks like HERO snow!
Best day of the year! Only wish my shin bang would have allowed me to ski for more than a half day, such a shame.
@@benoveson I've been fortunate to never have shin bang. Take care of your self! Heading up to Snowbird today!
