Facts you gotta know the story from the beginning she was first a maiden to Athena who of course got jealous blah blah she was beautiful at one point even more then Athena thy w
Nope, she was born a Gorgon. The retailing of her story as a maiden abused by Poseidon came from a Roman poet and therefore not part of the greek mythos.
A glaring problem in this is that it says that he turned Atlas into Stone And that hes an ancestor of Heracles But during the labors he met Atlas who was definitely alive Does that mean that You eventually go back to normal
I feel it would've been much better to use Hercules' true name, Heracles (meaning glory of Hera, he was so named to appease her) EDIT: to clarify, Heracles is his original Greek name, Hercules is the Roman equivalent because the Romans took a lot of Greek mythology and incorporated it into their own existing beliefs stem. Same goes for Jupiter-Zeus and Venus-Aphrodite, for example. Since this video is about Greek mythology, it would've been better to refer to him as Heracles, that's all my comment meant to imply 😁
👏👏🎉🎉💖💖🍻🍻 Love it! Now this is amazing story of The BEST Adventures of the GREAT Heroes of GREEK MYTHOLOGY in story! Totally awesome of Greek Mythology hero actions in history and humanity will remember their action deeds to make better future for all of us!
I didn’t think the Diomedes horses would be terrifying (trust me, I’d truly be horrified about a cannibal horse)….till someone used them in a crossover story for something and they were straight up nightmare fuel!
Ah Ice ❄️ yeah full hour episode fight Greek mythology history cool I love that compilation video all episodes yup I love that my brother father absolutely yes hehehe ❤.
Greek mythology is complicated. I don’t think atlas is always part of perseus’s story or maybe another story cured atlas between Perseus and Heracles’s stories
In some versions Heracles instead built the two great Pillars of Hercules to hold the sky away from the earth, liberating Atlas much as he liberated Prometheus.
Even though this really fascinates me, there were just few things I want to be cleared of. If Perseus already petrified Atlas, why did Hercules still be able to meet him? Why does the Cerberus in your animation at one point don't have a serpent's tail? If Hercules met Theseus when he was young with the lion cloak, how come Theseus met him again before before the 12 labors began?
Perseus was actually Egyptian and Andromeda was Ethiopian. For some reason the narrator failed to mention that Andromeda was from Ethiopia, that was ruled by King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. Perseus and Andromeda's son Perses founded the Persian Achaemenids. Helen of Troy and Hercules are also their great grand children.
Luck good ! Every man's superhero killed creatures. But maybe I terrify more than I am brave. For explaining in Myths. Thanks for Godess or Goodnesses.
Whoever is the commentator for this got it wrong because the Greek was not Hercules it was Heracles that was the difference between the Greeks and the Romans
Do you know the Hercules and Heracles are two different demigods ones from Greek Heracles And there’s the other one from the Roman mythology, Hercules, if the narrator is talking about the Greek, he saying the wrong name
Here's a funny video idea how about you make mythology what if basically the stores in mythology if but what if they took a different turn Like for example the story of Hephaestus trying to sleep with Athena but in that what if he would have gotten her pregnant
The art an dialog are timed perfect
Yeah.
Medusa was a victim.
Facts you gotta know the story from the beginning she was first a maiden to Athena who of course got jealous blah blah she was beautiful at one point even more then Athena thy w
The people started looking and showing her more attention
There are three version of her stories and yes she is

+ was thinking about that
Trust me, Greek myths are not known for their consistency and proper chronology.
@@BetterThanYou96exactly lol their myths be all over the place when you go through them.
Let's just say it had something to do with him being immortal
Atlas is also a titan so of course he'd change back to normal
You can break down all of Greek's heroes with "Zeus cannot keeo it in his pants.
Ah," loincloth."😉

It's really creepy when you realize that Zeus is both Heracles' father and Great-Great-Grandfather.
that's not strange considering we all are sons of God 😂😂 possibly means we all are brothers and sister
That is super odd

honestly never put that together. Neat, and thank you.
Isn't Hercules just the Roman variant of Heracles?

@robgau2501 I don't believe so, it was a westernised version of his name. I might be wrong but that's how I understand it.

Wait if Hercules was a descendant of Perseus, How was Atlas not petrified when Hercules met him?
Greek mythology is complicated. I don’t think atlas is always part of perseus’s story or maybe another story cured atlas between Perseus and Heracles’s stories
Maybe because atlas was a titan... he immune to curse... so medusa gaze only effect temporary...
In some versions Heracles instead built the two great Pillars of Hercules to hold the sky away from the earth, liberating Atlas much as he liberated Prometheus.
Zeus just shooting his stuff all over the poor lady
I had the same question.
Zeus didn't appear in front of Amphitryon and alcemene

Please don’t question the massive plot holes, they didn’t really have continuity of thought in those days apparently 😂
@@jspur6 It's to be expected though, after all these were all seperate stories that people told each other throughout centuries.
If Atlas is turned to stone by Perseus, then how did Hercules, many years later visit Atlas and he wasn't still stone?
It most likely that human sacrifice was common among ancient Greeks as mention of this is active in their mythologies ...

If anyone's interested in the rise and fall of Hellenic heroes I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's video on Traditional Hellenic religion
Perseus was a pay to win kinda guy
so Percy was herks ancestor and his brother?
Perseus was actually Egyptian and Andromeda was Ethiopian. For some reason the narrator failed to mention that Andromeda was from Ethiopia, that was ruled by King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. Zeus stayed coming down from Olympus just to raw-dog chicks for sport
No one’s gunna talk about how Zeus did a golden shower in the first minute and that knocked her up??
Zeus heard her pleas for help, but gave her a golden shower instead.

In Greek Mythology it's Heracles, it's Roman mythology that he is named Hercules

HIS NAME IS HERACLES AS IN HERA- KLEOS (Witch means glory for Hera)

Isnt Atlas already turn into a stone / mountain ???

Zeus is his own grandpa
Zeus R Kelly on that poor girl with the golden shower.
I wonder if the Greeks had people who just sat around making storiea about the gods.
Always Zeus the philanderer. Prayers of young girls go first to him
Hermes is atlas grandson
Hercules was a Roman hero, when referring to the Greek legend you really should be using Heracles
Didn't the Hellenic religion win namely Christianity

It's so funny how all European sagas are mythology, yet everything in the Christian Bible is real. Either their all myth or one proves the other true.
