Dude, I have to say thank you. You're skill is far higher than mine, no ass kissing, it's just a fact. But sitting and watching you learn, how you learn and everything honestly reminds me of exactly how I do it. But I have a problem even getting myself to learn anything because I feel like I can't or won't be able to or it's just not worth taking the time. Watching these videos has inspired me to quit dicking around and start learning songs again. Thank you whole heartedly.
dude i can't stress this enough, keep doing more of this, the isolated almost echo-like rawness of the guitar has helped me through so much. the rough nights aren't as rough when you can listen to the beauty of an 8 string.
Dude THANK you for featuring Sylosis on the wheel. They're obviously not a SMALL band by any means but they deserve WAAAAAY more ears on their classic albums. Unbelievably strong work that band has put out.
I totally understand your rant on the muscle memory thing and overthinking it. What i like to do is practice it a ton at the speed i'm comfortable with ''while thinking about playing'' , then take a 5-10 mins pause, then when i come back, the music plays trough me instead of me trying to ''force'' the music out if that makes sense. Something with my brain getting overloaded i think. Was really nice to see your process of learning the riff. Even the ones we look up to struggle sometime! Keep up the good work brother. Much love from Montreal
The thing that got me hooked with Intervals is like, for example Lock & key, the song has that "Jovial feeling of happiness"to it, that got me emotional Great to see Lean Damb playing their song
I decided to sit down and learn the Zenith Passage song from last video, and it was a ton of fun. I hope I can get time this weekend and learn this one too.
I love this new video format. I hope to be a 1/4 of the guitarist Dean is, but nothing gives me more confidence than watching an amazing musician learn something new.
You should do a wheel of riffs with some submitted and written by fans! I think that would be really cool to see you showcasing newer musicians while learning things that are completely unknown to you.
Dont think i didnt notice Dean repping the Misyrion shirt! Thats awesome, dude. Thanks to this video i might have found a new group to look into. That intro is a beautiful piece of music!
I was at the bare knuckle booth at namm 2020, and was playing a cool mayones guitar, blue swamp ash body, it wasn't even plugged in but I could tell it was a monster guitar,..and then Aaron shows up, and plays that guitar for his set at the bareknuckle booth. It was weird. And cool. He was great. Didn't drop a damn note that I could detect.
My favourite has always been Meridian, but on Circadian specifically, D.O.S.E is far and away the best song on that album. NO ONE is ever ready for that Sax 😂
This reminds me of some riffs off of All thats remains this darkened heart album. Ollies writing style was so fucking cool. Highly recommend playing ANY song off of This Darkened Heart album
My vote is for "Funeral Thirst" (from Unhallowed (2003)) ~> Yes. Apparently I'm _that_ old(school) Fun fact: "what a horrible night to have a curse" (from Nocturnal) was the title of their first EP.
First, great video. Great playing. Love your content. Second, I see your Kemper out. Did you stop playing QC? If not, will you be selling/releasing your QC settings?
Do you shower before you play guitar? Because your playing is so fuggin' clean. What Kemper profile profile are you using in this video? I would like to get that tone for practicing.
I really really hope the Spencer departure doesn't age poorly due to some obfuscated drama. Whoever is to replace him... good luck 'cause those are some very, very large (tech) shoes to fill.
In your fractal preset you said it's not fully ported for the FM3 yet. Will I get notified when it's ported? And how/where can I download the updated version?
I got really excited when I saw ABR on the wheel with the arrow pointing at it in the thumbnail. Intervals is fantastic, but I was a kinda disappointed. Maybe someday.
Well... it's not REALLY my genre... ... but I could listen to Dean play the "Miku...," or, even the "Fart Pedal"... and it'd be better than much of the stuff other dudes are putting out nowadays.
I took my dad to see intervals, Aaron let him on stage after they played and took pictures with him. Watching him live was dope. Sick song, you learn fast af! Sick job
“It’s a little fast for me”
Ironic
very, his band plays way higher bpm in pretty much every song
I took it more to mean that he wasn’t ready to play it up to speed yet
Dean and Intervals is a welcome collaboration
Edit: “What a cool riff!” *makes the most miserable face possible thinking about having to play it*
That’s called stank face. It’s good.
Hahah

I feel the exact same way, this is why i love dean’s videos!
You can do whatever you say you can friend. Give life Hell until it's Heaven.
"I never learned any intervals before"
-Lean Damb, 2024

Aaron Marshall is a good dude. Nice to see Intervals getting some love
He got mad at me on Instagram once because I mentioned It was hard to find Intervals tabs online lol.
Lock & Key is such a sick riff too
Bye Spencer!😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I KNOOOOOOOOOWWW! I just found out!
At 1st I didn’t know what you meant so I opened instagram and the 1st post confirmed what I kind of thought and I’m sad
I don't know when this episode was recorded, but looking at Dean's face, it seems like he already knew.
@cotomaznaczyc this video is recorded for 2-3 weeks because there is someone comment 13 days ago
@@AxtoPxc_Deathcore because it was available for members before he released it to everybody.
YES! Finally intervals on this channel. Lock and Key is also a really good pick since you're a hybrid picking guy.
Intervals fan just discovering the channel. This was fun man. Archspire is sick.
Keep this series going!
Been loving this series Dean 🤘🏻

yep same on the pause. crazy how effective that is. if I keep trying to push through for another half hour or hour my playing just starts degrading
When Dean is impressed.... its something to be impressed about
The thing that got me hooked with Intervals is like, for example Lock & key, the song has that "Jovial feeling of happiness"to it, that got me emotional
Great to see Lean Damb playing their song
Your hands are the PERFECT size and don't you let ANYONE tell you otherwise
I decided to sit down and learn the Zenith Passage song from last video, and it was a ton of fun. I hope I can get time this weekend and learn this one too.
Aaron is a magician he's an amazing writer and musician one of my favorite guitarists by far! Awesome to see you learning some of his stuff!
Man. So im not slone in my guitar pro shitdiggery.
Props dean. Crushing it bro
Intervals has been my favorite band for years. I got to see Aaron and the guys at House of blues in May it was an insane set
I think there are some first fragment and inferi riffs missing on that riff roulette
Yes please.
I would love to see Archspire, Inferi, AND First Fragment on the same bill. That would truly be SIIIIIIIIIIICK!
A whole wheel of inferi
I saw Intervals open for Tesseract last year in Grand Rapids and it was amazing!
I love this new video format. I hope to be a 1/4 of the guitarist Dean is, but nothing gives me more confidence than watching an amazing musician learn something new.
Love this series lately please do more it's so inspiring watching you learn these riffs
Dope dude Intervals slaps love this series!

I love watching dean’s videos and seeing him learn. He learns pretty quick 😊

The riff is just nuts, love it and the video makes it easier to try and play! Already got it has ass under my fingies🤘🏻
It took me over a year to learn this, awesome to see Intervals on here specially my favorite tune
My favourite has always been Meridian, but on Circadian specifically, D.O.S.E is far and away the best song on that album. NO ONE is ever ready for that Sax 😂
I absolutely love this track and you trying to learn it :) absolute banger
Says it easy, proceeds to yell "Fuck I know where that is!" LOVE you Dean!
Loved Intervals since the beginning, stoked to see you play it!
Unrelated, but you should do four levels of Black Dahlia! And dethlkok! With cartoon instructionals
Dear Producer, the opening to Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tárrega should be the next challenge
That song is so fire, never heard it till now!
This process is so real. Pretty bad ass.
I was really hoping for revocation lol
Same lmao
Same 😂😂
same
its weird to think ive been listening to intervals for like 13 years now
Same here.Started at the age of 14, I am 26 now... using the solo from Alchemy as a warm up
Unfortunate that Aaron isn't very keen on A Voice Within. Automaton is still my favourite, next to Libra probably
Heard of them many times but never listened for whatever reason. Cool stuff, it's like a happy version of metal gets you in the good vibes
Favourite dude, dont ever stop Deano ❤
This is a sick video but I was hoping so much to see a Caligulas Horse riff getting learned. Sam Vallen writes the most awesome songs.
This reminds me of some riffs off of All thats remains this darkened heart album. Ollies writing style was so fucking cool. Highly recommend playing ANY song off of This Darkened Heart album
I love that song. Aaron Marshall is such a funky and clean player. 🤘
Sorry to hear about Spencer's departure. Good luck filling his seat bro.
Hi Dean, I saw Aaron at a coffee shop in my home town.... I also did not say hi
😅
Keep on developing brother, you got this!🤜
Your tone is awesome man
I forgot how much I enjoyed intervals. This riff is very fun to listen to
first signs of rust by wretched about broke me had to give up on it but watching you do this makes me wanna give it another try
We love the long form content 💀🤘🏻greetings from Utah
Been trying to learn Mnemonic for months Intervals have such crazy riffs and technique
Loving this series
And here was me thinking there would be some canadian fraternity of shredders and Dean and Aaron would kmow each other..
Would love to see you learn an old like 2007-2012 black dahlia riff
My vote is for "Funeral Thirst" (from Unhallowed (2003))
~> Yes. Apparently I'm _that_ old(school)
Fun fact: "what a horrible night to have a curse" (from Nocturnal) was the title of their first EP.
Intervals is amazing. One of my favorite bands
First, great video. Great playing. Love your content.
Second, I see your Kemper out. Did you stop playing QC? If not, will you be selling/releasing your QC settings?
Been waiting for an Intervals vid for yeeears. Nice!
That was awesome dude. Watching someone else's approach to learning this stuff was so cool to see!
Hey Dean we could be sisters! I’m also wearing my Misyrion t-shirt today!
Niiiiiiiice video, intervals riffs are just pure fun.
"It's all in 4/4, so it should be pretty easy." - Dean Lamb, 2024
RIP
I really hope you keep going with this series!
"youre familiar with the cusp" gave me a solid chuckle
That first riff is dope, man.
(Reminds me a bit of Hopesfall / Sikth)
Gonna have to check out Intervals :)
i highly recommend their 2012 EP "In Time"
please put polyphia back onto the wheel. Dean covering a polyphia song is the most cursed thing i can imagine
This series is so cool!
Yeeeesssss, been looking forward to this one
Dean just became an intervals fanXD
Love this content🔥
This song is so cool
Love these videos
every time I watch these I am 100% thinking how sick that guitar is.
Do you shower before you play guitar? Because your playing is so fuggin' clean. What Kemper profile profile are you using in this video? I would like to get that tone for practicing.
Great series!
I really really hope the Spencer departure doesn't age poorly due to some obfuscated drama. Whoever is to replace him... good luck 'cause those are some very, very large (tech) shoes to fill.
This is fucking awesome!
Really cool riffs, they kinda sound even better when played a bit slower.
Spencer is out????? No wayyy dude he's literally the most insane tech death drummer out there. That sucks hardddd
Whoa whoa elaboration is needed.
He wasn't all that great live, still a big loss
make this a thing. super fun episode
That’s a pretty cool looking shirt Dean, where can I buy one sir? 😁
Im a pretty proficient guitar player, but not like this lol so its fun to watch someone else suffer trying to learn this stuff 😂
My God... Please, can we get an Aaron Marshall feature OR a Dean feature on an Intervals track 🙏
If the Dean of shredmissions has trouble, I shouldn't even bother attempting 😂
Well... it's not REALLY my genre...
... but I could listen to Dean play the "Miku...," or, even the "Fart Pedal"... and it'd be better than much of the stuff other dudes are putting out nowadays.
Killer shirt!!
BEAN LIMBBBB
Five levels of Alluvial when
Did you purchase the offical tab book? Aaron will be mad at you lol.
Should do a new studio tour !
Fuck man is Spencer really leaving archspire? I can’t tell if this is a joke there’s no way
This is awesome
I love bean lamb
Polyphia in the thumbnail but not one on the wheel, dean got me yall 😔
No but seriously bros gotta learn a polyphia riff some day
Oh shit my bad. Polyphia is definitely on the wheel in future episodes.
my vote is Goose
More Intervals!!!
you should try entities by freedom of fear, full of killer prog dm riffs with some black metal flair and a true caveman breakdown at the end
also this song is really giving me pantera floods outro vibes
I took my dad to see intervals, Aaron let him on stage after they played and took pictures with him. Watching him live was dope. Sick song, you learn fast af! Sick job
Hey, could you add Inferi also to that Wheel pls, since they also have their tabs at sheet happens
