I'm very impressed by any business that manages to cut cost while improving quality and actually passes those savings on the the buyer. Keep it up Phlster!
your attention to detail and consideration of how the end user intends to use your gear to possibly save there life or the lives of others I have not seen any where in the gun gear world.
Very Slick! Always impressed by your quality control combined with consideration of buyer cost savings. Any chance of doing a Clinch Pick Fightworthy Sheath in the future?
I have since received my fight worthy sheath and TDI, and am impressed by both items throughly and I feel confident I can trust my life to both products for many, many years to come. My only question is this; I have had my TDI knife come loose inside the sheath after a high amount of activity without intentionally touching the knife, and I was wondering if there is any indicator that I have truly sheathed the knife considering my assumption that the sheath will not have a audible snap sound like a normal kydex sheath? Thank you for the great product and for demonstrating it throughly, just want to make sure I am doing things right.
I was hoping that you would consider a sheath for the KA-BAR 2486 TDI/Hinderer Hellfire knife which is an outstanding off-side knife (that's the way I use it) which is a collaborative design of TDI and Rick Hinderer. Your design is meticulously done so that your sheath is outstanding in every respect. It allows numerous carry options. The Ka-Bar TDI/Hinderer knives definitely need what you offer.
OMG you are OCD, not that is a bad thing when it comes to weapons. No really you are very meticulous and informative, I learned a very much from this video & DIY Kydex Holster How-To Part . I SUBSCRIBED. I just started making knifes, well I only made one so far & four blanks, but people I showed it to were very impressed and want me to make them one. Anyway Thank You! The process I am making my knife I have not seen yet on RUclips, nor will be the material I make Kydex knife sheath or gun holster, but very similar. I will post video soon
I'm not super excited about the relaxed retention. Shitty retention is why we replaced the original craptastic sheath to begin with. The absolute last thing I want, is for it to come out easier - or smoother. The people with excessive wear must be using it as an EDC knife, so i'm not sure you improved it in this way. However, getting rid of the top hole for more hand-room is a most welcome improvement! Keep it up.
I've just subscribed to this channel and started making my own holsters, and i can see i am using the wrong size eyelets. I'm using 3/16, what should i be using, and what size mounting hardware will fit the larger eyelets?
Kevin Clayton The 17 or so existing episodes cover a LOT of ground and discuss just about every issue someone might have with their holsters. Chances are, if someone is having trouble with the design and execution of their holsters, the answer is in the current selection of holster clinic videos. What's really important is to be able to watch those videos and do a self-evaluation. That way, the viewer has the skills to do their own evaluations and improvements instead of a spoon-fed continual rehash of the usual problems.
I figured that was the case. I have watched them all through a few times and I have tried to apply all the tips and pointers I can into my holsters. I really appreciate all the free education you have put out there for all the beginners like myself.
I watched this when you first released the video and now I have to go to the doctor for having an erection that lasted longer than 4 hours. Thanks Jon.
brodie mallicoat We test fit each sheath with four different knives. There are manufacturing variations in knives. Some are thicker or thinner than others by a couple thousandths. We are happy to make individual adjustments as necessary. Please contact phlstercustomerservice@gmail.com
I have a large tanto serrated, can your sheaths fix the horrible loops and pathetic clip that KaBar includes? Too worthless for on duty carry. Thank you.

I have both. The TDI and clinch pick. Love them both. Always looking for better sheathes

Well done ❤

Cool. How wide of belt will your loops fit? 2 inch?

@@PHLster my wife tried to pull that one on me after our 5th child
Very nice. Do you think the holster that you made for the J frame revolver will ever be available again?
Where can I order the new sheath?
I've just subscribed to this channel and started making my own holsters, and i can see i am using the wrong size eyelets. I'm using 3/16, what should i be using, and what size mounting hardware will fit the larger eyelets?

Any chance you are going to revisit the holster clinic series?

Are these still in stock?
Any new videos?
Great job!

I like what you done here but the kydex sheath cost more than the knife. How is this a good deal?
Brandx the knives are made in batches of thousands over-seas. The sheaths are made in smaller batches here in the US. They’re gonna cost more.
do you have clips instead of loops?
Why do you have c/s in your wrist?
TheMartialist It was a gift from a friend
Will the sheath fit micarta scales for the tdi?
Alex Odell I can't guarantee that. There could be many varieties of scales with a range of manufacturing variations.
So many blades need an upgraded sheath.
Mine doesn't snap when I put it n, but it doesn't fall out. Still not sure how I feel about it

Can anyone suggest a good place on-line to pick up a TDI for a reasonable price?
Matthew Kane snakehoundmachine.com where we sell this sheath also has TDI knives in stock.
Are there going to be a skeleton for a G26 w/tlr6?
Not soon, no.
