This beautiful Fl was cool, wise and rarely smiled. I loved her with this handsome Ml of whom he was 10 years younger, but you could not tell the difference! The Ml's father separated the Ml from the Fl to protect him, but did it with care and tact, protecting the Fl, his teacher and his 19 yr. old son. This is a first that the fiancé of a male lead prefers her female friend over the Ml. So glad Shen Jiaming and Su Muyun were finally a happy couple and reconciled with the humbled aunt. The Ml and Fl looked amazing in their bridal attire! Ww.
This is so stupid. Why won't FL tell ML that the money is for saving her brothers life? Should she not do everything she can to save him? An why don't ML know about her brother from before she got married?

Okay, many scenes were cut probably for the level of violence and blood in those scenes. Which makes it troublesome and confusing to follow the storyline and who dies, who doesn’t and who goes to jail or the mad house.
The red line in this story is that a boy/young man (ML) of a rich dysfunctional family with a company falls head over heels with his young beautiful calm tutor (FL). Her parents are away and she cares and works for her younger brother who is dying of liver failure for 6 years!
They both are romantic and fall very much in love.
The crazy niece of the boy rats them out to his dad and his dad makes him leave abroad (probably schooling). The dad is a old block who’s unwell, so he needs a nurse assistant and takes the tutor into his house, but not his bedroom. He pays enough medical expenses to keep her brother alive but not enough to cure. So she’s trapped.
The ML hates her for being kept by his dad, the family hates her because they can’t influence and kill the dad, the niece hates her because the ML loves the FL too, the board hates the son for being young and the world hates her for being a woman, which means she is always on the wrong place, at the wrong time, in a different space continuum doing something wrong and being up to no good.
Then the dad dies, the brother get sicker, the ML returns, the family turns in a bunch of sociopaths and she gets 10% of the shares of the company. As there’s not enough trouble.
I like the FL. She has been in a toxic environment not doing what she wants for 6 years. She’s strong, calm, depressed, kind, reasonable and used to swing with the wind and float with stream to hide the chaos under a thin lacquer of control.
The ML is an angry puppy of 25 years who needs to let go of his hatred to face the truth; grow up and be responsible for his love for the FL and the heritage of his father. And yes the ML is cute, handsome and very adorable. But he needs a backbone and only the FL is safe enough to show him his path.
