You're sick! 😂Not my style of music until you play it! I think my MODX8 is haunted.

Dig this! Sounds like a 'Doors' Ho down'! I can almost hear Jim Morrison crooning on this one. Seriously cool.

Great improv Dennis! On the Morph, you can make any mix of FMX sounds in a performance and create a unique sound and store it for future reference. That's the artistic part of the MODX as regards to the upgrade I guess.

Hi Rob. Thanks as always. I think you might already know more about Smart Morph than I do. After you combine two or more FMX Parts in a Performance I think the Smart Morph feature lets you automate movement among the Parts. Do I have that right? I’ll have to mess around with it a lot more.

@@tkrdennis hi Dennis, yes, exactly that! Just add to the performance, hit smart morph and then hit analyse and learn. Every time you hit learn again, it will create a new "mix" of the sounds. By pressing the coloured square anywhere, you change the variables. Best to start with init FM-X and then add in parts 9 upwards by pressing smart morph edit.

ruclips.net/video/HMvbFxHVP3Q/видео.html is very useful as well as the video after that ruclips.net/video/JPV5hC-9Rv0/видео.html for motion control. It may come in handy for your band performances.

That looks like a good video. I just watched the first couple of minutes. Earlier today I read Blake Angelos’ tutorial on the Yamaha web site, and then fooled around a bit with Smart Morph. I’m beginning to get it, and I can see where it might facilitate creating some interesting new FMX sounds. Thanks.

@@tkrdennis You're very welcome Dennis. It may also help to reduce the number of slots used in your performances, leaving then open for other instruments. Wish I could do the same with AWM2 as for a single piano sound I use about 8 slots (CFX + pad + bass + 2 other pianos).

Your artist name is very similar to an old Swedish rapper that was huge in the early 90´s
