Love your channel! I laugh every time you refer to yourself in the third person. I checked out your other channel and really enjoyed it too! Thanks for the fun educational format!
@@pamprier4710 hey!! I think I found it in her description box. It’s different than this one though. It’s more about home DIY’s and decorating. Which she’s pretty good at. I just love her personality so I watch both we I can. This channel is my favorite though! Good Luck.
I love your channel I use to sell my stuff at garage sales getting $15-$25 for my coach and mk purses but I now started a you tube channel and posh mark and will be selling here and there thank you for educating me.....
Cheval mirrors are 'generally' floor models for looking at yourself full length. It comes from the French, meaning horse. A term that also means to stand on its own feet, like a horse generally does. Just an fyi, 🙂
I'm happy to hear you picked up Ruby Road. I have quite a few pieces that I will be listing when I begin selling. They were my mother's. She was a shopaholic, and Belk was her favorite store. Sh lit up when you asked uf she wanted to go to Belk.
I'm too cheap too and have stopped going to the estate sales on their 1st day. I much prefer the quieter 2nd day and 50% off 😅. I still get great deals and have time to look up items, so much easier.
The little photo you found is known as a 'tin type', also known as a 'ferrotype'. Most popular during the last 3rd of the 19th century, 1800's ( up until about the 1930's). 🙂
I love your idea for the picture and matching photo. I think you did very well at the estate and yard sales. Can’t wait to hear how you did each month. I always look forward to seeing how you did with your items! 😊
Good pass on the Motorcycle jacket.. i just sold one New for 65.00 + shipping , they are heavy weighing 10lbs, the cost to ship is always a consideration to keep in mind @ 50.00 would have been a bust. Love the little brass mirror ! Couldn't tell if the Wrangler was a brush popper , they are heavy weight material , made to ride through the brush !
Most of the estate sales near me are terrible now. There are 3-4 main estate sale companies running them and some price things at retail or even higher so when they have half off days the deals aren’t even deals. Anyway nice finds.
Bonnie, some are like that in my area as well. I always wonder what they do with the stuff after it doesn’t sell? I know of one in my area that donates everything to a local thrift store because I find it all the time with their prices tags on it.
@@SimplyThriftingWithSherriI actually found your eBay store. Took a lot of googling! I'm surprised it's not listed on your videos or on your channel. So I actually added the cardigan to my watchlist but decided not to buy it. I'm glad it sold so quickly! ☺️ It was very cute.
Going to these sales are a adventure we would love to see what’s actually see the stuff at these sales please be more camera scanning when your shopping we want to see more stuff not just what your looking for I ask a lot of video shoppers to slow down an make it an experience we all can enjoy thank you
I appreciate the feedback, Debbie. I never want to bore anyone with unnecessary footage so I’m always unsure of how much to show. But, I will definitely take this into consideration with future videos. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey! You are awesome! I think you will do well with the Diane von Furstenberg! She just had a show called Woman in Charge" come out on hulu! Price high!!
It was difficult to see the picture inside the frame so I thought separating them would make it easier to view. We’ll see if I made a mistake. Thank you for your input! ❤️❤️❤️
@@SimplyThriftingWithSherriI think most people would separate the pictures & sell them separately. The fact that you’re selling them together is pretty awesome. I totally agree with your decision to separate them! 😊
Hello there. You are one of my favorite RUclipsrs to watch. I recently began my reselling journey on Poshmark and was scammed out of $1k the first day. I don’t know what to do. I’m hoping you have a suggestion. I know this is weird but I don’t know who to turn to and I know you have experience with Poshmark. Please is you have time. I need you. I hope to hear from you. Marsha Mills
Marsha, I don’t have a lot of experience with Poshmark issues. I do know that there are people who will message you saying they need “better pics” or they want to buy the item but want you to email them directly. I keep all my conversations and transactions on the Poshmark platform. Not sure if this is what happened to you?
That's not a brushpopper I don't believe. Brushpopper usually is a very heavy fabric and has an almost waterproof finish
Thank you for the information. I appreciate the heads-up! I love to learn and greatly appreciate when someone corrects me. ❤️❤️❤️
It will also say “brushpopper” on the tag. A lot of people on eBay say their listing is brushpopper when it really isn’t. :)
Love watching your channel, Sherri! You always make me laugh! :) @@SimplyThriftingWithSherri
I think your pricing was correct though. The ones that say brushpopper can sometimes go for close to $200@@SimplyThriftingWithSherri

Ha, ha! I had someone comment a long time ago that they hated when I do it…so I do it all the time now. 😂
Wait, Sherri has a second channel?? How can I find it?

The deodorant glitter comes off. I get shirts and blazers with it all the time and just wash them. 😊
Is there a deodorant with glitter in it? Why?????? Lol

You’re simply on fire with your reselling purchases. 👏🏼👏🏼🌞
I’ve recently started picking up Ruby Rd, but so far I’ve kept everything for myself instead of reselling it. I tend to do that! 😅
That used to be one of my biggest problems as well. 😂
Love your moody dark wall color when you showed the brass mirror. Really shows off your artwork
I always enjoy thrifting with you, Sherri! Thanks for another great video

I never gave it a second look before so I was shocked at how much Ruby Rd retails for. ❤️❤️❤️

You’re not crazy. Just bought 2 bottles of sealed hair growth for $1 each. Retail is $100. 100% sell thru rate. SCORE!
What a great score!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love finding old portraits that in luxe some kind of extra info. It’s exciting for me.
I wish we lived close because you are seriously like my twin, lol! You crack me up and you're so into this! Love it!

No, the bottle that was left was half full and they wanted $50. I was so hoping to get my hands on the full bottles.
Yard "sailing" lol😅 it is kind of like that.

Hi. Scammers on Poshmark ask for pics, etc sent to their phone, etc. Never send anything off platform, they are trying to scam you.

So sad that's probably a picture of a relative that they simply discarded.
