There are 20 percent flaws in his video. Ashwattama can't defeat Pandavas. He couldn't save Jayadrath, who was killed by Arjuna. He didn't take any head to Duryodhana thinking it was Bheem's head.
Ashwatthama is not Shiva's ansh. He was only born due to a boon.
Also , Ashwattama never saved Karn from Arjun.
But still Aswathama went to kill the sons of Pandavas in their sleep And on top of that, he also wanted to kill the child growing in Uttar's womb with the Brahmashir weapon. Ashwatthama was a Shivansh just like Hanuman. A Shivansh can only be killed by lord Shiv and Mata Parvati. That’s why lord Krishna cursed him to live but with diseases.

Yes Ashwathama is alive. However, there is rebirth of a few more characters of Mahabharat. Very intersting story spun around Ashwathama in 1st movie. Amitabh and Prabhas stand out in their performance. Worth watching.
Ashwatthama will be one of the saptarishis in next manvantar.
One thing you have to understand, these yudh which are there in our history is that - just like now our ancient wars also used to have many rules, regulations, ethics that has to be followed no matter what. Ashwathama and all other who suffered and got punishment is because they did war crimes, and violated these rules regulations in the most cruel ways.

Mahabharat is most complicated story....in it no one's birth was natural...most of the characters in it has many dimensions...sanatan dharm in this way gives answers of all questions!!!! It is the most ancient culture in the world.
Prithviraj has the skill to kill anyone just be hearing his voice from afar and he killed gauri using that when gauri burned Prithviraj's eyes as medium of torture. It is believed that he learnt that skill from Ashwathama as no one till today has the ability to do this.
Pallav vansh Kings of south India ( now in Tamilnadu) were of Bharadwaj gotra Brahmins. So they trace their lineage from Ashvatthama ( their inscriptions tell this) bcz Ashvatthama is grandson of Rishi Bharadwaj.
Around 730 AD Nandivarman become the Pallav king at age of 12. Nandivarman was the younger son of king of modern day Vietnam. That time north east countries rulers were also share common ancestries.
