Good morning 🥰 God is in control of all things. He hardens and softens hearts. He opens and closes eyes. He causes ppl to hear and not to hear. Thank You Lord for opening our eyes and ears. Continue to draw us to Yourself everyday. Help us to see You and meditate on You and your words that you have spoken to us today. Help us to not be wise in our own eyes and lean to our own understanding, but to seek Your wisdom and Your truth oh God! Help us Lord! Help us Lord! Lord You know. You know🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Amen! Thank you for your wonderful prayers, Terri Blue. They are a blessing.
@@liap1293 glory to God🥰 it’s an honor and a privilege to go to God on behalf of His people ❤️ you’re so welcome!
Amen 🙏
Amen 🙏🏽
Amen
Reading today sounds much like what we are currently going through in the world. It's sometimes hard to know what is real and what is a lie from satan to deceive us. I pray that eyes and ears are open and decernment from Holy Spirit guide God's people in the madness we're living in today. No matter what remember God wins!!!!
Amen Sister!!!
Amen!
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty!” Imagine being there, having new eyes that see Him in the blinding light of His holiness, holding hands upraised with our loved ones-being made whole, reunited with those we’ve grieved, and being overwhelmed with gratitude for His mercy! How is He merciful? First, I recognize that “I’m a man of filthy lips” (Is 6:5). Our mouths reveal our hearts, and my heart has loved what God hates. But then He has a coal, burning with the heat of His character, His holiness, and He purifies me by touching it to my lips. In worshiping Him each day, we confess, He forgives (Is 6:7), and then He equips me to be sent out to do His will (Is 6:8).
Amen! Come Lord Jesus, COME!
Amen Maranatha!!!
Isaiah 6 is one of my favorite passages. I close my eyes after I read the beginning and picture "the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of His robe" filling the temple (6:1). How majestic and mighty is He!
Isaiah 7:4 stood out as I read because it applies to my mom's current life circumstances and I plan to share itnwith her, "Be careful, keep calm and don't be afraid. Do not lose heart"...
The people may not have listened, but thank God that Isaiah did. I'm sure, he was blessed for his obedience in that the words that came from his mouth were so well preserved and are quoted so much today. Plus, the remnant needed to hear what he had to say.
God sees how good is called evil, and evil good. He assures us that His word will triumph and He will restore righteousness.
Amen 🙏
I think I can relate to not wanting some people to repent and wanting God’s judgement to fall heavily upon them like in Isaiah 6:10. I recently saw Sound of Freedom a movie based on the true story of Tim Ballard who dedicates his life to the rescue of trafficked children. Those people that steal children and sell them into sex-slavery and the ones who pay for them I want God’s judgement to fall heavily upon. However, in that same movie there is the story of a man, at the brink of suicide after realizing what he had done, whom God speaks to tasking him with with finding and freeing children. He has since rescued many children and continues to do so. God knows men’s hearts, their potential for evil and their potential for good. It is not my job to condemn others but to pray for them, to lead them to repentance, and to live a life of light that shows the goodness of God.
Amen! Can't wait to see this movie!
This was a really complex reading today. There is so much imagery in these passages.
Aloha, good morning and praise the Lord BR family. Psalm 31:24, “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope is in the Lord”. Keep the faith, hope and trust in the Lord; He is where the JOY is!!!❤❤
Good morning my Bible reading family!!! I just love Isaiah and his words! So much promise from our loving Father
My Godshot: “I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.”
Isaiah 8:17 ESV
I love this verse a lot because to me it kind of embodies, a common Christian struggle and how to respond to it. What I mean by this is, I feel like everybody goes through trials, turmoils and struggles in which they feel alone, however, I believe with this verse is sort of telling us is that even in these hardships, even when you feel lost or alone that we must always , find hope and faith within God, because he truly is where the wisdom is where the love is and where the joy is. God Bless!
If you don' t stand in faith, you don't stand at all!
Amen!!!
That’s my God shot!!! ❤
YES! MINE TOO!
Amazing visions and prophecy given in these chapters of Isaiah! My God shot came from Isaiah 6: 1-5. Isaiah saw an amazing view of the Lord. It was a glorious and amazing sight. Being a witness to such holiness brought the reality of his sinfulness. When I think about the goodness, awesomeness, and holiness of God, I can't help but think of my pit of sin. But, I also praise God for His grace and mercy towards a wretch like me! I can never give the Lord enough thanks for saving me. Praise His holy name!
He is our burning coal
Thank you Lord for the burning coal that purges our iniquities
🙏🙏🙏
Isaiah’s response of “Here I am Lord! Send me!” is such an encouraging contrast to Jonah’s reluctant obedience!
The beginning of Isaiah chapter 6 is one of my all-time favorite passages in the Bible. I fell in love with it years ago when at a state youth conference as a leader, and Francis Chan spoke on it. He read it with such passion and inspired us to envision the Lord, high and exalted, seated on His throne, with the train of His robe filling the temple (Isaiah 6:1). How awesome in splendor! 🙌🏽
Every time I have read or heard this passage since then, I have that vision in my mind, and it overwhelms me to tears. Our God is so majestic and mighty! His magnitude is unfathomable. He is Holy. "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty..."(Isaiah 6:3b). ❤️
Frances Chan is a great man of God I would really like to see him in person. But, mostly I can't wait to meet my Lord Jesus and fall at His feet and thank Him for all He has done for me!!
Good morning bible recap family. Hope you all have blessed week❤
You as well!
God is HOLY! - we should be so humbled to receive His forgiveness and extend that to others! Such a loving Father ❤
I am so happy to listen to the recap truly help me to understand bible
This was so powerful, Jesus is there telling me always look for HIM in every situation, and HE is where the JOY IS!!
Day 191
Inspired by God Isaiah writes a love poem to Israel. He compares them to wild grapes- but in Hebrew, this translates out to stinking things. It’s not what God wants to grow in his garden. So He removes the protective hedge and the wild grapes are trampled.
God shows 6 ways why the grapes were stinking:
*They were greedy pushing the poor out.
*Their lavish lives of excess and drunkenness lead them away from God.
*Mocking and doubting they seek out sin.
*Prideful fools with no integrity and distorting the truth.
*Being arrogant.
Again drunkenness and also robbing people of justice
Isaiah 6 is God’s throne room.
He is upset with the Israelites because of the way they are acting towards God. However, God shows Isaiah the proper view he should have for himself in light of God. He will be God’s mouthpiece.
Isaiah is a sinner in need of God mercy also.
He sees the greatness and awe of heaven!
He sees so much and is greatly humbled.
Isaiah is told how to speak to the people. He is also told they will not repent.
God tells Isaiah to rebuke people who will not listen. This will only serve to put more judgment on them.
God promises, Isaiah, that there will be a remnant of the people. They will be preserved. God has set His name on them.
They are a batch of stinking fruit. God will kill off all that is set against Him and preserve the people.
Chapter 7- Judah is in military trouble. King Azah trusts God but later distrusts God. God gives him a sign, actually the sign of Jesus being born by a virgin.
Prophecy can be layered. It can have present and truth and future truth together in it.
It works in tandem.
Isaiah receives a word that things will get bad. But God says he shouldn’t be shaken or afraid.
In Chapter
We see God’s throne is in a temple not a palace.
In chapter 6 Isaiah sees the angel take a coal from the alter of sacrifice and touch his lips. Isaiah is made clean.
Christ is our sacrifice.
Through Him we are free, forgiven and made clean.
Good Morning Bible recap family
God is on His throne, He is in control PTL for He is good
Praise God for our opportunity to study His Word!
"How I view and see God will determine how I respond when trouble comes! "
I love the way prophecy works, sometimes it doesn't make sense but God's word rings true and it comes to pass
Good afternoon bible Family ❤️💯💯🙌🏾🤗He is where the Joy is ❤️💯
Good morning family God bless. 😊❤
He is our Priest, our King. He sits on His throne in the temple, not in a palace. He is ALL.
“In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a THRONE, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the TEMPLE.”
Isaiah 6:1 ESV
The coming of Jesus Christ. I trust you God 🙌🏽🙌🏽
It's so beautiful how God forgave Isaiah and washed him from his sins; the way He does with us. Thank you Jesus for the blood applied. 😪
Amen 🙏 Thank you Lord 🙏
Good evening bible Family readers ❤️💯👍🤗 Another awesome day in His word ❤️ Thank you TLC beautiful recap as always 💯💯 Hope you had a wonderful day in His Presence 🙏❤️🤗
Do not fear what the rest of the people fear. I believe this message is as applicable today as it was back in Isaiah's time. It's easy for us to think of End Times, of Revelation with all of the horrible things that are going on in our world today. But God calls us not to fear. We are to trust Him.
"This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people: “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread."
Isaiah 8:11-13 NIV
I trust You, Lord. I trust the process. You will bring Your Children peace and joy.
“Here I am, send me.”
Hineni!
Amen TLC!
Hey Bible Readers!

I found Jesus in today's reading..but this was a horrible woe to the people who turned away from God. Yikes.
