I don't know why some people get hung up on the month, Black History Month? It shouldn't even be about the month if you're teaching your children, but that's not happening in many homes. So if they learn more in a month about their culture than they learn all year what is the problem? Research why Black History Month started in the first place. Attend some of the events that happen during the month. I enjoy it.
And you should know that Black History Month was never meant to be confined in a single month or a week. And yes I know I’m over five years late on this but it is what it is.
