This is it! Next videos are all from my poker road trip! So many new casinos, I can't wait!
Would be really helpful if you put what position you are in in each hand instead of just saying it once at the beginning of each hand.
What suburb was this in? It looks nice.
Can I ride?
Where is your buddies info on grading cards? I couldn’t find it
This is great Wolfgang. Just pumping out vlogs from different casinos across the country. It’s so refreshing to see new casinos from different places!
Glad you like it, tons more new casinos coming up!
@@Wolfgang_Poker Can’t wait!
True!🥃
Thank you for the humor in your vlog. I can use the laughs. Good luck!
I'm loving the effort you put into the videos, keep up the good work bro
Thanks for noticing!
10:10 love the bet on the river - that's exactly how you might play AdKd, AdQd, etc. And sensing that he wasn't overly strong because of earlier sizings was an important component of sniffing out the bluff. BTW, it's bad form to show your hand to one person and not share it with the table. In many rooms, somebody will say "Show one, show all" and you'll be forced to show your cards to the table. I'd just tell Jake (later) what you did.
It's always great watching the vlogs with your friends and you taking their money 💰 🤑 💸
Nice win dude! It’s great to see you playing with the homies - in that AJ hand I think you made a good but difficult fold there. Not sure if I would’ve been able to fold that on the turn there 😅
Thanks! Yea it was a tough fold!
Been following for a while man. I love your content!!!
Appreciate that Nicholas!
It’s a great fold. You made a good fold based off the info you had and you were right
I always love this vlogger!!
don't need to tell him what he already knows 😂
I like a call on the turn, to many hearts in his range. Folding most rivers though if barreled
that Ace river bet probably don't work as well as you would like. Most people would call it off with TP/2nd P there because good players understand that you are using the ace as a scary card for bluff. Agreed though that he was betting too small on the turn if he had a strong hand.
Good fold, your intuition based on circumstances in the moment were on target.
Good laydown on top pair against a set of cowboys, also gots to reraise with the nut straight
Dude, I've been watching for a minute, and I gotta say I like your vibe. You're not getting over aggressive unless you have to which is a good counterpoint to Ethan (I like him too).
Let us know when your hoodie's official.
thanks for the support and will do 🤙🏻
Need to bring your buddies on the road and get them in more content. Great video!
i wish!
Nice job with the Double W for both games. Congrats!
Thanks!
4:14 You raise, 3-bet to $65, now you make it $165. The single most reliable tell in all of live poker: when somebody makes it a nice round increase over the previous bet, it's the nuts. So he makes it $65, you make it $165. I'm folding everything there that isn't AA or KK. Make it $155, make it $180, anything *but* exactly $100 more. Same is true of exactly $50 in lower stakes, exactly $200 more or $500 or whatever.
Interestingly, I just called out Ben Deach about that, and he said "You know what - good point, and it's absolutely true."
(1) Don't give off that tell, and (2) use that tell. You're welcome.
Great persistence, great commitment to grinding content.
Thanks Lee, really appreciate you taking the time to comment and help me improve, i'll use that trick to my advantage in the future!
Hi, what are you using to put the replay on your videos? Thanks!
The vlog is getting good
appreciate it!
Great content Wolfgang!!! I think your thin value bets are a little to thin...keep the content flowing!!!
thanks clark!
Great playing with ya wolf! Happy my bad beat made it onto the vlog lmao
Where is this charity poker place? Like to check it out
nice meeting and playing with you as well!
Sooo cute, well played every hand you show.
That was a great fold against the kings.
I love the M22 shirt. Probably one if the most beautiful drives East of the Rockies!!
Wow nice catch! Agreed!
nice to see the m22 represented. i am originally from traverse city (live in oregon now) and used to hang with the broneah boys back in the day when they started the store....let me know if you ever come to portland oregon and we can hit up portland meadows (home of the double board 5 card omaha bomb pots...the 1-3 table has two bombs an orbit....its next level insanity). hope you keep gettin' hit with the deck.
cool story Jeff! sounds crazy!
i like the aj fold. when in doubt trust your reads
nice fold AJ
Couple questions.. where in chicago was that charitable game. 2nd. Do they have dealers there. Or each player take turns dealing
Hey, do you have regular cash game in Chicago? I’m visiting next Sunday..
Impressive fold
Seeing what he had yeah great Fing fold I probably cal the turn bet and see what the river brings but dam grew at fold man
Plus if u did hit your 4 outter you could bet 400 it would be hard for him to fold. Great fold tho
In you KK v. JJ hand, I would go for a little thin value (20-25% pot). You hold the king of hearts, so raises are less likely. After you check the turn a hand like jacks will probably still call.
Good tip!
Good thin value bets.
I saw myself dealing in the background. Tell jake hes a fish
Ayyyyyy thanks for the shoutout!!! I hope to join you next time you're in Chicago. Great vlog!!
hahaha heyyyy
I like the bluff when the Ace comes out. You had a missed flush draw. If you check you’re almost waving the white flag. Exactly what I would’ve done
Yo! When's the next time you coming to RCG. I would love to jam some games with yall when you're back in town!
follow me on IG, most likely around christmas!
I think that you must to know a lot the player to fold AJ in that board. Nice read anyway
In between hands you show hands like AK, Pocket pairs. Just wondering if you are playing these hands and not significant in people folding or just not in position. Not wanting to criticize but sometimes you say you showed your friend when you fold. Anytime I see that on the table I feel show one show all. Your thoughts? Great session. Thanks for sharing.
Just out of curiosity, why show one/show all? Ive heard that said before.
@@MikeJones-zu7cq Maybe collusion. Not arguing by no means I just have always heard that. "show one show all". Thanks for commenting on this. I do enjoy watching his videos.
@@armandofromthevault9775 ok
Hey thanks for the comment! So the hands I show quickly don't amount to anything (raise pre, 1 caller, i c-bet, they fold). As far as when I showed my buddy Jake after the hand, just trying to have a fun time with him and if someone else wants to see the hand they can let the dealer know!
I don't fuck with those Rockford charity games . I got kicked out of Ditkas trackside for fighting lol . There was crazy collusion and the dealers were in on it .either play at the horseshoe or Chicago charitable games when there close to the City . The PLO games get crazy asf though love it . Was hoping you weren't a Cubs guy lmmfao but hey we got every other team probably in common . And no on the (there both Chicago teams) lol your either Sox or Cubs . Keep up the great content and let's see a 10k plus win
Good check with the Kings! That Ace and even the Queen kill most of you action against the Jacks! Being not results oriented... The ace was there it is scary to call a raise on the river
Wolfie, @ 3:36 fold is correct but more important you said you were "getting a good price to draw to the nuts". Not correct. You have 4 or 3 outs if you are behind, a good price is $25 and no more. Glad to see you doing so well travelling
how often do they run these games? I was thinking of moving to the lower Chicago area since housing is cheap. but i heard horseshoe Hammond is closed!
Everyday
Decent sizing on KQ suited river
i think the fold on the turn should be a fold or a raise as a bluff with the jack blocker to qj
great fold with AJ but I am a donk and would have called :)
You Goofball! Ahahah good to see you traveling deep!
AJ fold was nice , even his flop bet was due with that flop texture.
Huge fan and I live in villa park I Wana come and play some cards next time ur in town
hey joey! follow me on instagram, ill probably be back ~dec
Good fold. I wouldn’t have did it though.
I’ve watched basically everyone of you videos and just saw that I wasn’t even subscribed. I was upset with my self to say the least. You are one of the best poker vloggers out there…. Please don’t ever stop!
wow sam really means a lot! don't worry, i dont plan on it 👍🏻
First Rockford vlog
Hey bro where you pick up that hat?
thrifted it in Chicago ~8 years ago before vintage was a trend!
AJ Fold: I would Not have folded for that price and I would have Lost a lot more money! WELL DONE!
beautiful fold 3:36
So you folded two pair, so what do you want ?
A hug?
Or just acknowledgement you fluked the right move?
11:50 Boom - there's that even $100 increase with a premium. You're totally transparent my lupine friend.
Chunky, Phatt, Thicc.... it's all good 😁
OK so at 10:17 you show AJ, KJ, AK, AT, QJs. Did you see flops? Did you fold when you missed flops? Did you raise, C bet and shut down? Curious what you did and how you “dodged bullets”. I often find a way to build a pot with these and then lose big while chasing or bluffing. I’d like to see what you do.
Best blog..btr than rampage...I m from rampage
appreciate that! hey, i like rampage's videos too!
It could be me, but you look at your good hands longer than your other hands.
Nothing better than playing with buddies and not being card dead.
the dream!
Yo Wolfgang. What do you use to edit? I’ve been trying to make vids myself. Please let me know how you get your videos off your phone too! Thanks
Hey! Final Cut Pro X. Air drop to get videos off the phone to computer!
@@Wolfgang_Poker thank you!
how did you get your graphics? like cards and the board and stuff? thank you!
A over bet on your A-8 hand would've gotten a call . It looked like a miss flush draw . Or at least a close to pot size bet would of gotten called too . He was calling really fast and thought his Ace was good
Where is the name of this poker room? I'm in Milwaukee, and the only room in town is closed
Just heard the mention at the end. Ty
Rockford Charitable Games
Could feel the pleasure you had hanging out with your buddys. Question...you made a joke when you busted your friend, I personal do the same but I feel a little bad after, any of that? Also I got the impression that his stack ment alot to him, like he couldn't afford to lose it.
People should only play money they can lose. That’s on him.
@@justincapadocia I get that and agree, just curious what his take was.
Jake and Reece are cool with the banter. If they stack me, I hear the same amount if not more lol. Appreciate your concern!
@@vincegable5734 I am said Jake in the vlog who got stacked I didn't care at all was reacting for the vlog lol. I play 2/5 regularly at that room was fucking around at 1/2 for the memes
Your better then me I would of raised🤦🏾♂️
Love your content if you ever come up to Alaska hit me up
will do!
shocker
I didn’t know Reece is actually Ashton Kutchner 🤣🤣🤣
I agree that the AJ vs KK fold on the turn (A K 10 8) is really exploitable, but was an amazing fold. Whether it's results orientated or not, it was the right fold. What exactly made you fold. I know you mentioned his betting of 2 streets, but did that go against the table dynamic that much? Was it something different he did?
Thanks! For me it was a read I had on the player. He wasn't playing too many hands and the way he played it and his bet sizing just told me I was behind.
Good question, I was wondering the same. 🥃
@@Wolfgang_Poker Thanks for responding. I appreciate it👍
The fold was sensitive - You wouldn't have picked that up on line. When you had KK vs JJ I would have hit with $25 - half pot pet.
I'd bet 150 w the KK v JJ for some thin value probably
I mean I don’t think you get to fold AJ unless MP is a like old man coffee type
was this vlog before u went to texas?
yeah
Hey how long were you playing poker before you went full time playing
i consider myself more of a content creator than a poker player. but an answer to your question would be that i've been playing poker since I was ~16 but only really traveling to play poker for the past 2 years!
Thanks for the reply appreciate it, Love your videos been playing for a about 7 months, lots of fun, ive gotten good winings
Folding is intelligent. It might cost you pots now & then but check raised and if I can't beat a hidden set or 2 pair on the turn/river I fold. If I call and miss and its bet I fold unless I get the feeling he's missed or just bsing. Folding is intelligent $$ losing is boring and stupid.
Looks like a gymnasium not a poker room
great fold, but also.....easy...aajajaajaj
8:40. Betting $55 into $350 is pretty wonky. If he's going to pay off an ace (which he did) he'll pay off more. You will also find that in bigger, more sophisticated games, the tough players will recognize that for exactly what it is (one pair going for thin value) and put you to some tough check/raise tests. In situations like that, when I'm not sure of the right bet size, I go for half pot. If he's got an ace, he'll pay off half pot frequently (he's getting 3:1 any time you bet half pot). If you bet $150 on the river, you probably get called half as often, but you make more money than getting called twice as often for $55. Your goal isn't the most calls - it's the most chips.
NB: J9 was open-ended on the flop, and got there on the river - it was something to be aware of.
thanks for the insight, I like your analysis of why I should bet 150 instead of 55.
9:30 Check-raising either flop or turn makes no sense imo. You raised preflop and he called. The flop/turn smashes his range, so even if you flopped a set of 9's, you shouldn't be overly aggressive. I'd lead bigger with a flopped set, and maybe thinking about check-raising the turn, but in this case, I think a check/raise on either street would be a mistake.
Lots of Jakes in this video. Had me confused
a dime a dozen
fold is too nitty on AJ fold around 3:35
No offense to charity org poker events......these games are the state of the Chicagoland poker scene.....
The fact the guy with pocket kings didn’t 3 bet is sus
"Big boned bet" has a better ring to it

What neighborhood in Chicago are you from? I've been in Albany Park most of my life. On the N.W. edge, now.
How old are you Wolfgang ?
old enough to know better, young enough not to care!
@@Wolfgang_Poker lol, I was just asking because you look like you are in your early twenties and the previous video I watched you seemed to playing a lot of old timers.
