    If you want more from this build, head over to the PBM build blog for the XV750

      When we rebuilt the motor we used an upgrade kit and replaced the worn parts. It fires right up so the starter slip is minimal

    I like the wide spread of the cylinders in the XVs, they make a great looking custom.

      Usually the sound of these bikes is the worst part, followed by how the ride haha

    Blown away, yet again! Love your work from the uk. Saving up for a PBM build, detail and thought you put into these builds are stellar.

    Truly incredible work, love the amount of effort that went into this build. Shows the dedication to this bike for sure lol. Can't think about how much this custom work costs xD

    How can you not like XVs when they sound like that!

    Great power sound! Haven't seen a custom gas cap like that, can you please tell or show more about it?

      If you search for a pop up weld in fuel cap it will come up.

    2:33... Sorry if it's a stupid line of thinking, should there be some obvious answer I'm missing, but I'm not sure I followed the power math correctly. 65HP? Shouldn't near-doubling the power put it in the 90-100HP range? Or were there some factory restrictions?

    Great work. Is there any reason you couldn't swap a 1000 or 1100 from a latter model?

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  Год назад +1

      We had an XV750 motor we wanted to make faster, we just figured capacity was the best way to do that. The work would have been the same with the 1100 anyway.

    Did you run into starter issues?

    Why not start with the 920?
    Nice job though

    How much trouble do you go through getting it engineered and road legal in QLD?

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  Год назад +1

      There's not much to engineer apart from the front end swap which is a major upgrade to the braking. Its usually no hassle.
