Videos like this are quite damaging to the spots featured. I made some similar videos when I started doing RUclips, but I realized that it's very disrespectful to the people who already frequent those areas. By drawing hundreds of inexperienced anglers to one spot, you literally destroy any enjoyment that existed there before. It it far better to make videos without naming the spots, so that only people who are already familiar know. The only positive outcome is that there will be fewer people elsewhere.
@@manoyclark I realize that. Your creativity comes from a good place in your heart. I was just trying to pass on a lesson that took me a couple of years to learn.
@@manoyclark I'm sure it comes from a good place, but blowing up spots on the river via. social media is not the way. People have been eagerly awaiting when these "holes" would be available and hiked to scout them each day, but you posting it online for everyone to see overwrites their hard work and boot hours on the river. With one video, you might attract dozens of anglers, or more, to crowd these locations. Edit: In the very least, don't name the spot. Seasoned anglers will know where it is if they are familiar with the area.
@@colinhamilton4427 @petrhermanadventures9509 none of the spots shown are by any means a secret considering the project has been announced months ago. all of them are parking lot runs and are within eyesight of the trails. go fish mid-upriver if you dont like the crowds. nobody is entitled to gatekeep knowledge of a river especially the vedder. piss poor attitude from lazy fishermen
Spot blasting for internet views. Please get a new hobby. 12 years of fishing this river and I have never seen anything like this year. Every spot is over crowded and people now think it’s normal to fish shoulder to shoulder. I hike away from crowds early morning. By noon, I get over crowded to what should be a run for 3 maybe 4 rods to 12 rods and half of them ripping bobbers through the hole with 6ft leaders. 🤦
This is fabulous

I have no intention to destroy people's enjoyment. My goal is to inform people about the fishing spots in Chilliwack.
