Personally, the reason I find Vita and Switch emulation on Android interesting is because I find it difficult to bring either device with me around town, so having those games on a truly mobile platform is really liberating, but on top of that, it really does make your phone more like a gaming PC with the selection of titles available to you; prior to those emulators, you could play a good portion of the Ys series, Final Fantasies up to 9 or so, many of the Dragon Quest titles and so on, but now a person could play Ys 8 / 9 (both masterpieces IMO), Xenoblade (although this one will probably take a bit of time yet), Final Fantasy 10, 12, Death End: re Quest, the entire Trails of Cold Steel series (!!! these take a while, so playing them portably is great). All of those I just listed are titles I played or am on the verge of playing on PC, but it's cool to think that other people might be able to check them out even without a dedicated gaming PC. I'm really happy to see that platforms continue to open up over time, and that people can do what they want to on the platform that suits them, instead of being locked to five different devices to play all the titles they want.
Uh final fantasy has been able to be emulated on android upto around 12 not 9. 12 has run really well on many androids for about a year or two since aethersx2 came out same for 10.

Wow, I'm shocked to see the performance so good at this stage! Last I checked in on this emulator even on the X86 side, we could barely get 15fps out of persona 4! To see some games seemingly fully playable blows my mind!
The thing with Vita and Switch emulation on Android is that it's quite easier since both consoles use ARM architecture, so there's no need to emulate the actual CPU, just the GPU. And since the snapdragon devices have some custom drivers in the wild, you can squeeze the chipsets to the last drop of performance with the right emulator. Unlike x86 versions of the same emulators, that need kind of a nice and buff CPU to run the games properly.
