Phoebe is acting as a surrogate. It’s Frank’s sperm and Alice’s egg. Phoebe’s DNA isn’t in the mix, so it’s not the same issues that come with actually reproducing with a sibling. (That may be the weirdest sentence I’ve ever typed out)
When they implant embryos into a surrogate, the “potential baby” is already formed from the mother and father, so the surrogate’s eggs are Not used. In this case, Phoebe is donating her body but Not her eggs, so the embryos are not at all a combination of her and her brother. As Phoebe explained it, she is “only the oven, not the bun” and that the bun is totally from Frank and Alice.
Peobe really is a special person. Being a surrogate is a big deal and a big commitment. Monica should NEVER be allowed to gamble. She doesn't know when to quit. And to this day, I know the answer to every question posed in this ep. It's one of my favorites. "My sister's gunna have my baby!"
Every dad eventually needs coffee. Especially the good dad's. :) I bet the little one is growing quick. I miss those days. Now I'm Nana & there's no mandatory night duty. .. 😆 🤣 😂
Welcome to one of the shortest (and most illogical) tv pregnancies. Based on the strict timeline provided by other events this season (no spoilers here), Phoebe is only pregnant for around 4/5 months. Maybe 6 at a stretch. Also it would take around a week (5 days minimum realistically with a sensitive test) to get pregnancy test result after embryo implantation but obviously this bit is just sitcom logic And I don't know about at the time but these days implanting 5 embryos would be a serious malpractice issue. It's just irresponsible. Today it's most often just one but sometimes two
@mariramos9982 well yes that is true but they clearly weren't that early. They even said she was well into her third trimester as the reason she couldn't fly. If they had been born at six months that episode would have gone very differently (I know it's a sitcom but even so). As I said before the pregnancy is full of sitcom logic. It's just more obvious when the storyline provides a very specific timescale between events
Monica’s NOOOOO after they lost was as epic as Luke Skywalker’s!
Was so epic 🤣
That was such an epic scream

Hahaha 🤣 thank you ☺️ I am learning a lot on this 🙏🏾
I'm glad you did type it out cause I was wondering how I'd word it
@@JaxandNinalike Phoebe said she is just the oven (or a place for the uterus to develop).
@@ibjensen8626for the egg to develop......Phoebe already has a fully matured uterus lol

Rachel trying to get rid of the duck for no reason is savage 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pheobe's actress ( Lisa Kudrow) was pregnant in real life, so they had wrote a pregnancy into the scipt.😊
@@tonismith3707 oh wow 😮
The blue-blazer-black was a blooper that they left in. 😂
🤣🤣🤣
R.I.P. Miss Chanandler Bong 💔
The way Frank J said “My sister is gonna have my baby” 😂

Lucky you 🤣 Nana ☺️🫶🏽🤣
She’s growing so quick and speaking 😂🫣
I love these episodes. They're so good! Also, your shirt matches Ross' "Lightning Round" cards. Lightning bolts.
☺️
This is my favourite episode 🔥❤️
Mine too. Absolutely #1! 😂😂😂
No, it not incest, since it is their embryo, and she's just the surrogate. It doesn't carry any of her genes.😊
It's adjacent.
Either way, IVF is a good thing, and people banning it are dunces.
The embryo would only be in Phoebe. The baby is biologically Franks and his wife’s.
@@tonismith3707 oh okay pheeewww 🤣
@@JaxandNina, yep. It’s biology their child. Phoebe is just the surrogate. No incest

FYI when it is more than a baby, sometimes they born at 6 months
