Delivery flight through Ostend Airport of DHC-5 Buffalo wearing a very exotic registration : 7Q-STB. She arrived in darkness from Canada via Keflavik(Iceland) for nightstop. She then continued initially via Brindisi(Italy) onwards to Africa. Already wearing WFP (World Food Program) titles.

BUFFALOES always have turbo props. It is a descendent of the piston engined Caribou. Don’t know why it did not do well as a civilian transport but I guess the Twin Otter to Dash 8 series covered the requirements.
