It's the Avata 2 all the way for me. I'm flying my Avata 2 much more than I did my Avata 1. And the Goggles 3 and Motion controller 3 play a big part in why I love the A2. Great comparison of the two drones, I enjoyed hearing you thoughts about both drones. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. I got hundreds of hours if not thousands with my avata 1. Since I started with the 2 I noticed that the controller action is much more fun than the avata 1 .
Man! What a great post and review! I just got a A-2 a month ago, and am loving it! Have mini 3’s and 4 pro, flying them all interchangeably. Want to try goggles on the Mini 4 soon. Just got the other stick controller, haven’t tried it yet. Haven’t plenty fun with the motion one! Take care Bro!
I bought a 2, but returned it and went with the original. Built sturdier, more user serviceable. I fly it for sport, not photography, therefore the lower quality camera is not an issue to me. It is magnificent when compared with analog fpv cameras.
Did you upgrade to the axis Kit on your Avata 1 ? I've seen it and it eliminated the Yaw Tumble and made it quieter. I'm not technicaly inclined enough to change the props and motors on my Avata 1
Problem with original goggles now is that if you do a firmware upgrade (or are forced to), you will then have to connect your cell phone to the goggles in order to avoid a remote ID error. I use the Googles Integra for this reason as they have gps built in and that takes care of the Remote ID. I agree with the possibility of eventually having problems with the battery connection, although, these type conductors have been around a while in other uses and seem quite durable.
I never updated my Avata 1 since I fly backyard action or super rural remote areas. So i didn't see the need to update to RID . I did see that plenty people were angry about having to use the phone for RID. Thanks for watching, Aloha
Always great info... I have both the Avata OG (2) and the Avata 2 and I like both... Only way I'll get my FPV on and with the Avata 2 I don't need to learn Manual. But the drarw-back is my GPS drones (Mavic 3 OG, Air 2S and Mini 3 Pro) are being neglected... somewhat! Thanks for sharing. I miss Hawaii... Like #15
@BooFPV u don't need to know how to fly manual. Some people can't get the hang of it and don't like it either. Seen a few guys that tried and gave up on it cause it's not for them
@@808-Stat3 okay baller, i hear ya. Maybe there is a market for really fast camera drones that you can use goggles with. To be honest, the night everything clicked for me in the simulator was the night I literally was deciding to give up and just enjoy my dji fpv in sport mode, but I pushed through, and my god I’m so happy i did, it was an enlightening experience.. I think about my dji fpv all the time now..miss her..sort of….nonetheless, #youmightbeontosomething
I have 2 of the Avata 1’s and like ‘em both. Will wait and see what else they come up with.
Great information
I love my avata 1 . Never updated so I don't need the phone in there for remote ID when I just wanna play around in my yard lol

Hahaha yeah my autel is catching dust since the avata 1 . Only using it during client work :(
I've always said, camera drones are like watching paint dry once you fly something that responds in real time.
I’m confused, you have both avatas and don’t know how to fly manual?
