I feel like for that money you can pay for a luxury spa experience at a hotel near the airport, then put up with the inconvenience in business class for half a day.
@@tb46475Of course, first class is an amazing way to fly I’m sure. A lot of nice perks, good alcohol, a dinner, and things like this! But I think flying business then having much nicer accommodation when you get back will beat first class with less nice of accommodation once you get there most any day. Flying is amazing, a wonder even, but amenities on a flight is at a premium.
First and business (booked with points) have the same cash tax/fuel charge on Emirates. So no, if you book with miles the cash price is basically the same
@@eavocado5890pppj I was actually being a little sarcastic. Like you already get treated so well in business class, just shower beforehand and “put up” with the “inconvenience” of not having a shower in business class - read it with a pedantic voice 😆
One time I flew from LAX to DXB on emirates. I was very excited to take the shower towards end of this long flight. This was my first time taking EK F. I had expected the experience to be amazing and it was. I was not expecting how refreshed I felt after the long flight. It completely woke me up and I was ready to go when the flight landed. Usually I’m all groggy after such a long flight and go through immigration while half asleep. But this time I didn’t need to stop by a lounge to take a shower. I was ready to start the day in Dubai. I also thought this shower on an airplane thing would get old the next time if I get a chance to try it again. I can honestly say it definitely did not. Thank you airline miles!!
This is why I think flying in commercial first class (Specifically with Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, and Singapore) is much better than flying on tiny private jets. It is safer - seats are better - entertainment system is much better - has more food options - Lounges are much better than the private lounges with the ability to shop from the terminal and on the flight - Has WiFi - offers you pajamas and slippers - you collect loyalty points all at a cheaper price. Private jets are only expensive because of the privacy. You have to pay a lot more for literally everything on the plane from the crew to the fuel as well as airport fees.
@@Fays-d4h Yes, the actual shower may take over 5 minutes, but you can save water by turning it off while lathering. It doesn't need to be constantly running.
It’s plenty. You learn to turn it on, turn it off to soap up. Turn it on again to rinse. You’re on a friggin’ plane lol. Most repeat fliers only do it on longer flights though.
Yes, especially with freak turbulences happening more often given climate change, I wouldn't risk it, you can always shower at any VIP on an airport if so needed.
I don't see the point. Just shower in the lounge facilities at the airport or at your hotel. Unless you HAVE be somewhere as SOON as you leave the plane, AND looking fresh. I do wonder what you'd do if the pilot puts the seatbelt signs on though.
I think it will be better to have such facilities at the lounge. The airplane is meant for you to travel from one point to another and from the experience of the turbulence, it will be good to not go for non-stop flights. What if there is a lot of turbulence during the long haul flight? If one needs to go for no. 1 or no. 2, it will be a problem
5 minutes to shower? Come on. I can barely wash my face and hair in 5 minutes. Especially on long haul flights with so few seats, everyone should definitely have more time to shower. Considering those tickets cost upwards of $20,000, I think 5 minutes for a shower is just piss-poor.
Why are people so fascinated with ‘first class’ services? No shower or bathtub at home / hotel? No toiletries at home / hotel? No bed at home / hotel? No champagne at home / hotel? Why that urge to ‘enjoy’ any luxury 38,000 feet up in the air? 🤷♂️🤦♂️
@@jakecortez4795 nothing cool about it. Zero. Not sure if you’re a frequent flyer, but I am on a 100olus flights a year for business. Most frequent flyers do not even take the F&B as we all know it’s not worth it at all.
Great idea, but what happens if you are all naked in the shower when the fasten seatbelt sign comes on?
Theres a seat and handle bars there
Grab a towel and run to your seat
walk naked to your seat and fasten your seat belt. its your private room
Go back to the seat assigned to you and fasten your seatbelt.

Sometimes they’ll let you use 10 mins if not that many people are using it :)

But you're limited by the airline schedule and places where it can go.

5 MINUTES! what if I’m in the middle of washing my hair when all of a sudden the shower turns off?
Use the sink
bro still has soap after 5 minutes
There may still be cold water
Oh no you are right. They majorly underestimate how long it takes to wash long hair!
My mom experienced it and till this day, I'm jealous of her
5 minutes?Nothings getting cleaned that quick
5 minutes of water is more than enough to get clean. Stop wasting water.
@@thedutchfoxxx ?? In five minutes, I could only get my hair washed if I really hustled. At the fastest, I’d need a minimum of 15

The next evolution would be if they collected some of the cloud and melted it using the engines heat to get new water so you can shower longer.
That’s why it’s Fly Better, but I would wanna check it out on my next flight
That timer is really needed lol
Mile high club never been so easy
Wow beautiful
I always wondered if turning the shower off stops the timer; now I know! I'm a turn the shower off when I'm soaping up type of guy.
Only 5 minutes? Like atleast not 10?
I was gonna say cuz I need at least 5 mins with my hair alone 😂

I have a question! Is the five minutes of running water enough for a refreshing shower?
It's enough to feel a bit fresher - more of a novelty than anything!
Bro imma be honest the whole bathroom is the same size as my studio apartment 💀 or maybe bigger
Silly question, but still one I'm curious about, are there oxygen masks in the shower, incase theres a loss in cabin pressure?
If I flew Emirates I wouldn’t think I’m on an airplane I’d think I’m in heaven but when we land you’ll have to drag me off the plane
I wonder what will happen if you have turbulence and you are in the middle of shower

How bout you look and use your eyes so you’ll be able to see the seat in the bathroom in case of turbulence
First comment 🥳 love the content and the video Dan, keep going 👍
Love you Dan
Fun fact - there’s a seat in there if you hit turbulence
i cant imagine rich people sharing a shower
The environmental cost of putting all that water airborne 😢😢😢
Womp Womp
Him:and if u turn the water off the timer stops as well.
Me: yeah no shit bro
What happends if there are turbulence during the shower ?
That’s why there’s a seat :)
It's like 10 grand for a 1st class ticket
i think 10 minutes would be more fair and realistic

They’re seats in the bathroom..
can you take a shower with your significant other ? if not, maybe sneak her in ? lol
POV u hit turbulence
What happens if you hit turbulence?
Just like what happens when you're not using a seatbelt.
The shower wouldn’t work when I traveled in 1st class last year. I prefer Qantas. 🇦🇺
Please keep the beard.
Ok but...5 minutes??
I would pick 90 mins prior to descend
Wow

which route is this?
I want try 😂
I worry about turbulence.
Why? There’s a seat for a reason
5 minutes?? I need at least 15 minutes. I guess it’d be nice to take a shower 1-2 hours before you land so you’re fresh.
just like on all murikkka flights - LOL
do economy
I’ve very jealous
With all said, the bathroom looks so small and dizzy... I would feel uneasy and claustrophobic to get squeezed in a bathroom of that size
Use shower in first class lounge in airport
All it takes is turbulence
So that is why economy has small of a leg room. This is idiotic
Omg. How can i be on first class😭
enjoy it cause they won't be flying A380 for much longer.
You share the shower? Yikes. Peasant life 😮
Now you only have 30 min
Technically, could you turn the shower off and then back on to get unlimited shower time?
Who showers in 5mins?
I'm too poor to be watching this 😢😂
Water is very heavy, fuel is quite expensive and the idiots who pay for this don't deserve the easy life they're living.
