Thanks for this! I picked up this deck and while I felt like I understood the gist of what it was doing, having it spelled out like this is a big help. Cheers!
Just played with this at a local store. My first time ever playing (bought the deck 20 minutes before the game) and I swept all four best-of-three games. Even beat the store champion who hadn’t lost a match the entire season, apparently. Anyway great deck, no notes.
I knew as soon as the first images for Lorcana dropped that I wanted this to be my starting deck; Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King are some of my favorite Disney movies, and I really love having a deck that uses so many of my favorite characters in a strategy of big bodies and gradual healing. Been considering getting a second copy of the deck, too, to have 4x copies of Gramma Tala, One Jump Ahead, and Consider the Coconut; like you said, this deck seems like one that benefits from consistent draws to get a gameplan going!
I can't wait to play this game at my locals. I've put together and play tested 14 decks so far using proxies. Amber/Sapphire Princesses has had the highest win rate by far. Those Princesses are a menace. After that, it's been Amber/Steel Stitch, Amber/Sapphire Stitch, Ruby/Emerald Evasion, and Sapphire/Steel Tamatoa. A friend of mine swears that his Ruby/Amethyst Aladdin deck works great when he tests it at home, but it hasn't beaten any of my Top 5 decks yet when we play. It's far too slow and easy to disrupt.
Any chance you could post the deck list for the Princess deck in particular? It sounds like a great tempo deck, just from what little I’ve seen so far. I’m still learning the game and reading the cards, so I can’t give an honest or enlightened opinion yet.

You Have Forgotten Me gets your opponent into Top Deck Mode. Just be careful vs Steel. They WILL sweep your board, so don't over extend against them and you'll be ok. The princesses have too much Willpower for Steel's direct damage.
engaging so i get lucky and get this deck for the starter deck challenge you guys are hosting lol. will also be my first time playing a tcg irl wish me luck
One thing I don't understand quite fully is cards being Inkable, and non-Inkable. Do cards in the Inkwell ever get revealed (is it just a matter of trust)? What if a card affect such as from 'One Jump Ahead' places a non-Inkable card in the Inkwell?
So yeah, if you are placing a card into the inkwell yourself, you have to show that's its 'inkable'. If a card such as One Jump Ahead or Detective Mickey gets you to put one there from your deck, it is not shown and it doesn't matter if it's inkable or not :)

I love the multi warding of aurora so much. This will probably be my starter
It's a strong mechanic!
She’s part of the reason why I chose this deck as my first starter deck. That, plus I was told the deck is the closest to MTG, play-wise. 😅
Loved the other 2 guides. Watching this one now and looking forward to it.
Thanks! Glad you like them!
Thank you for the Deck break down. I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching 😀
My personal favorite of the starters, but only because the Ruberald leaned away from the evasives. Solid breakdown, Jonti!

Thanks Buddy! I prefer the slightly more consistent play of the Remerald, but yea, this one is SOLID
@@lorcana_inkwell You might not realize what you’ve done with that nickname, but the Ruberald vs Remerald wars have begun. Lol
@@ReadySetDraw_TCG Oh, I'll end them then... seeing Ruberald that's MUCH better lol
I just got the deck with the characters I liked the most haha. Now I gotta figure out how to use it. Thanks!

@@brandonsittler6145 Thank you!
Thanks for the starter videos! Will you make more videos on how to upgrade them? (Obviously Steel needs The Big Tink)
You bet! Once we have some singles prices that can be 'trusted', I'll be doing an 'upgrade for $X' series :)

That’s awesome! It’s a very fun deck tbh… throwing down big stuff is just so fun lol
Which deck do you think will be the best?
It's personal choice tbh, I prefer the ruby/emerald deck, but that's the closest one to the playstyle I enjoy
