+ZiggyD Gaming This guide does a good job of explaining what each of the abilities do, but you don't mention a lot of important concepts for pvp, especially regarding enemy counters to your moves. Using lightning draw or stomp when an enemy is knocked down will work sometimes, but will more often be punished by the ground counter that every class (I think) has. A much better time to go for a lightning draw is as the enemy is falling from your aerial combo, because it can't be countered. Then, you can SS back to avoid their tab (if they use it) while waiting out their counter if they use that. After this you can RB and start doing the anim-cancel combo. I realize this is a beginner's guide, but it's also important to note that higher skill players will time their 2 to counter your soul stab when you grab them, making it way better to use the triple absorb -> drain (if they have no grab escape) or hurl them at a wall for the short cc. Also, I don't see why you ignore heavenly dance in the aerial combo. From my understanding, it just does more damage and you should use it whenever it's off cd.

I have had a hard time reading all the descriptions and deciphering exactly what they have meant as well as finding some really effective orders to go about them. All in all I loved this! Need an extended version of this guide answering questions like: 1) How to deal with ground counter? Does lightning draw go through it without procing it? 2) How every single matchup plays out? What's the most common opening used in each of the matchups and it's followup? 3) You explained the combos but in advanced version you need to explain the setup for each of those combos as well 4) In which situations should BD be using his s (invincibility frames) like sidesteps, backstep and barrier? Which particular cooldowns do you want to trade those for? 5) What are the detailed mechanics behind pentaslash (five point strike) specced into right branch, what are the best windows to use it and what is the right answer against it on each class that you want to avoid 6) How would BD play like against an opponent who s all soaring falcons with backstep? What's the best punish against such playstyle? 7) What does the tag "Counts as 2 stuns" on the charge mean? 8) Can spammed sidestep proc on a charge from point-blank (4-5m, just outside of sidestep range)? On release Ill be trying to get all classes to gold and then plat, need as much insight about mechanical details as possible to limit the amount of bad matchups. If you feel like you can answer any of those right now I'd like to know the answers asap
+thormond 1) Ground counter, when an enemy uses it go in front of his face and just spin, not only u will counter his counter but u will also stun him and then follow by an air combo. 2) in order to open use ur dash on ur left click ( dont remember the name ) while out of combat, if the enemy is gliding use glide and get in range for a force chock (4).and lastly u can use ur overpowered five point strike as an opener as well. 3)Ur basic aim is to open him with air combo, after that while he is falling down u have 2 options: Number 1.If the enemy still has his tab escape use force chocke, after ur force chocke use F, then use 4, 4, 2, Right click and then drain (3), the enemy will most likely use his back flip so u instantly answear with a rush stun, air combo him again. Number 2 if the enemy has used his escape tab ur main goal is to throw him in the air again, as he is falling down this time use ur lighting draw(C) into ur Right click stun into the death spam combo. 4)This is a really situational question and it is really hard to explain in a text but a really common way of using Q E is after u stun and u know the enemy is gonna use his tab escape, u just Q or E to avoid the stun from his tab I really hope i helped u

Your air combo is actually not the most effecient or damaging version. The correct combo would be something along the lines of (Knockup of your choice) > Heavenly Dance (does MUCH more damage than rising eagle) > Soaring Falcon (yes there is time to use this in between) > Ascend. Also, its almost always better to use ascend to start your C slash combo, because if put into a knockdown state, most enemies can F or 2 out.
In your top priority skills, you didn't add the rush stun. Do you think this is valuable early on? Or really wait till you get to max level. I loved this video and how in-depth it was and I feel like I've already gotten better.

I want to make a blade dancer build that has the focus on knockup combos and Phantom Grip, however Phantom Grip seems to be completely unrelyable, since every class can break out of it almost immediately. Could I prevent opponents from breaking the Phantom Grip with Defense cancling from the F ability on a knocked up or blocking target?

if u dont use a skill point in phantom grip u can have one more cc ability u just pres 4 4 again 2 and than 1 and that will knock ur opponent then u can stomp him to regain the 2 focus u lost during this combo

How do you find the lag in Aus Ziggy? I have heard from several friends that due to the nature of the game, a low ping is essential for certain characters with a 0.5 global cool down. Would love to hear your thoughts!
+peacan696969 I've played with 200ms on the TW server and its not that bad as long as you aren't spiking or losing packets. The ranged classes (Summoner, FM, and Warlock) are probably the most playable in PvE and PvP with high ping. I think Warlock is probably the best but it isn't out in NA yet. LBM is fine to PvP with because they do more aerial combos rather than stun/kd combos and don't rely a lot on animation cancelling. In PvE dungeons LBM does a LOT of spamming and animation cancelling though so lower ping will make you do a lot more damage. The rest of the melee classes rely a lot more on animation cancelling. BM isn't too bad but they tend to tank in PvE so you need quicker reactions to block/ stuff with higher pings (doable but you have to pick up on the bosses attack patterns quickly). I wouldn't really recommend Sin with high ping - they animation cancel pretty much everything, are squishy, have pretty tight PvE rotations to re-stealth and tight PvP stun rotations. I've heard KFM is pretty playable with high ping. Destroyer cant lb->rb as fast with high ping but most people seem to agree its still playable. There are successful players on the TW server for pretty much every class though that play with 150-200 ping, some classes just have an easier time at it.
Stat priority? Do you mean for open world pvp? Stats are normalized in arena. If you're talking about open world, I'd take as much critical stat as you can.

Question, isn't it more worth it to get Flaming Scourge than to get Guardian Tempest? With Flaming Scourge you essentially get unlimited Lightning charges when in draw stance.
Hum... Anyway around the Flash Step instead Lightning Flash? I don't like the idea of sacrifice mobility for sake of a little more damage. Would like to keep Flash step, is it possible?
You almost never use flash step for movement, and lightning flash gives you a lot of extra damage. Especially if you spec it for more damage to cc'd opponents. You can easily 100-0 with that with the right setup.
+Mato Kuroi still don't find it viable, in pvp is hard to get near force masters couse they freeze and slow u on spot, might be decisive though. or running away enemy's.

+ZiggyD Gaming Ziggy I think its worth mentioning that the 2 ability shouldnt be specced to stun against summoners and force masters because their CC and mobility makes it so that youd get kited without the 2 ability.

Lorenzo Fantini Well you cant feel it that good. But for example in bns that has fighting-game-like combat, in pvp if you are use to play around 20 ping if it rises above 50 you can really feel "latency" in some situations. But yeah majorly not.
KFMs have a lot of down times between their combos and you can easily bait an attack with tab and hide v in it. after that reg combo F LMB F 4 follow with what u like then tab to cancel his tab if he f you x. then c lmb for the 2sec stun and you can f lmb anicancel combo. you can also use the daze from x to air combo if x is down or if you want to grind a couple of sec if everything else is in cooldown. honestly most kfm are bad it shouldnt be a problem
but then you can also get in a lot more deeper stuff like predicting abilities to know if the down time is an or a casting time but .. yeah. that comes with time and sparring with friends
If I remember correctly from my Blade Dancer, that move automatically becomes available once you've reached the level for Take Flight. However the Blade Dancer has no moves that stun or daze by default so you need to put skill points into the right places first.

Everyone (non Blade Dancer) seems to hate this class very much saying how OP it is. I dont see it as OP ... I have been showing to most of my guildies how to actually beat this class and it becomes easy after a while.
+Sena Gundogar if you meant to ask how you can move single parts of the ui (like the skills, health/chi bars, etc), then press Esc and then on the bottom right press "Change UI". From there you can move whatever you want to wherever you want. If that's not what you meant, my bad.

Yeah I gave up after a couple of weeks, the combat in the game is so cool and feels somewhat satisfying but the games a pile of shit and I'm not even going to go in to the whole ping issues and so on. so I'm going back to other things XD
+navm4n this varies on your isp and whether or not you're using wired or wireless internet. lowest ping i've seen from aus is 250-300 (this is only possible with wired internet) people with 350 and above are people who use wireless internet / wifi or a bad internet provider.

In the recommended build in the description there are 3 unused skill points, what would you recommend putting those points in to?

What I like to do is get them up in the air>LMB>soaring falcon>blitzblade>ascend. The LMB slash gives you time to pace yourself imo.

Question, isn't it more worth it to get Flaming Scourge than to get Guardian Tempest? With Flaming Scourge you essentially get unlimited Lightning charges when in draw stance.

I agree but it is only one Mobility skill ur losing u still have q e s and ur z skill that blocks 5 attacks lol
You almost never use flash step for movement, and lightning flash gives you a lot of extra damage. Especially if you spec it for more damage to cc'd opponents. You can easily 100-0 with that with the right setup.
+Mato Kuroi still don't find it viable, in pvp is hard to get near force masters couse they freeze and slow u on spot, might be decisive though. or running away enemy's.
Marlon Alucard I find it easy as hell to catch FMs with BD, but maybe that's just me... And I would never use C to chase someone, lose so much damage

Lorenzo Fantini Well you cant feel it that good. But for example in bns that has fighting-game-like combat, in pvp if you are use to play around 20 ping if it rises above 50 you can really feel "latency" in some situations. But yeah majorly not.
how do you beat KFM and Blade Master. they always block and resists everything they are almost untouchable
KFMs have a lot of down times between their combos and you can easily bait an attack with tab and hide v in it.
after that reg combo F LMB F 4 follow with what u like then tab to cancel his tab if he f you x. then c lmb for the 2sec stun and you can f lmb anicancel combo. you can also use the daze from x to air combo if x is down or if you want to grind a couple of sec if everything else is in cooldown. honestly most kfm are bad it shouldnt be a problem
but then you can also get in a lot more deeper stuff like predicting abilities to know if the down time is an or a casting time but .. yeah. that comes with time and sparring with friends

If I remember correctly from my Blade Dancer, that move automatically becomes available once you've reached the level for Take Flight. However the Blade Dancer has no moves that stun or daze by default so you need to put skill points into the right places first.

Star is weaker.... When you dash and use the Right click, it's more op. And when you use right click again, it slams the enemy

The leftmost tree, due to the healing and resist. You can use it to dodge bosses red skills, and to heal yourself for massive amounts.

Everyone (non Blade Dancer) seems to hate this class very much saying how OP it is. I dont see it as OP ... I have been showing to most of my guildies how to actually beat this class and it becomes easy after a while.

+Sena Gundogar if you meant to ask how you can move single parts of the ui (like the skills, health/chi bars, etc), then press Esc and then on the bottom right press "Change UI". From there you can move whatever you want to wherever you want. If that's not what you meant, my bad.

Yeah I gave up after a couple of weeks, the combat in the game is so cool and feels somewhat satisfying but the games a pile of shit and I'm not even going to go in to the whole ping issues and so on. so I'm going back to other things XD

+navm4n this varies on your isp and whether or not you're using wired or wireless internet. lowest ping i've seen from aus is 250-300 (this is only possible with wired internet) people with 350 and above are people who use wireless internet / wifi or a bad internet provider.
