Nice bot! I'd suggest putting a backwards bending flexible leg (like the hind legs) on the front. That way it may skid further on the downwards motion and maybe conserve some energy/run smoother.

well, if you can get it to adjust its direction, you could strap a bomb on it and point it at enemy troops. Of you could dress it up in furs and play with predators in an animal sanctuary. it does see very prey like in its movements... Neat ideas, keep the creativity flowing... !
