Hi Tim, I have one more suggestion for the weavers on this design. BEFORE weavers attach the tassels, submerge the device in boiling water for 30 seconds. Remove and either air dry of dry in oven for about 10 mins at 350 deg F. Some folks call this shrinking paracord but that's only one way of naming it. While the length of the paracord "shrinks" it in effect "tightens / constricts". And the more straight and unknotted the paracord is the tighter and shorter it will be when it is shrunk. So what happens to the dreamcatcher is that the core gets really tight around the key ring and the microcord section forms a nice rigid tight web. But I have just 2 warnings: Do not attach the tassels until after the shrinking is complete and be certain that you have good quality paracord whose color does not run or bleed. Here is a link to a photo. The knots around the suspension loop are temporary so they will look a little different from your design, Tim. drive.google.com/file/d/1_70CPEA418zKisFy2O6pXaNjKJSlQW3c/view?usp=sharing Cheers, Murray
Great Dreamcatcher and video, Tim. I think many users will also use them as window decorations and necklaces. If weavers wish to make many of these and / or if weavers frequently use micro, nano, or TypeI paracord, an arc lighter is a perfect tool to use to melt the ends of the cords. While arc lighters are not suitable for Paracord 550, they do a superb job with the smaller cords. Arc lighters can get into tiny spaces without burning adjacent cord. They can be positioned to just slightly melt the tip of the cord or to melt it aggressively or even cause it to ignite. Cheers, Murray
Thanks Murray and once again another great tip! It never even crossed my mind to use an arc lighter and I have one sitting right in my tool pouch, d'oh! 🤦♂️
Your channel shows how to make keychains, bracelets, zipper-pulls... well - all kinds of things. But as an added bonus for the female population - what about different styles of braided paracord as *earrings*? Microcord Rattlesnake, Double-DNA, tiny little Globe Knots - or something as simple as the Snake Knot? Would make great gifts or craft-fair items with minimal investment. Yes? - No? Really enjoy all your content! - Thanks for sharing! 👊
Before pandemic im selling my paracord bracelet but when 2020 comes i switch in different ways to create something with my paracord i apply my paracord bracelet in 7inch wooden ring to make dream catcher paracord and the result was amazing
Tim 😳 ! I’ve been looking to your content for a few years now And this idea is my favorite of all time useing paracord . I combine both paracord and natural fibers in my weaving projects . This idea tho would seem to be very popular . Who wouldn’t want a weaved dream ( catcher ) . Thank you ♥️
For safety I used a round tooth pic. LOL... I Thought three family members at the same time to do this. Note to self six year old even with good fishing knot Knowledge impatient not help full. Fun yes individual better.

2 years later, made it as a gift for my gf that is obsessed with dreamcatchers.
I'll get some points for that, thanks! :D
I made one of these and it caught all my hopes, none of my dreams.

Thanks for making this! I botched the inside pattern because my ring was a bit bigger than yours, but it still looks pretty good.
This looks so easy I could do it 😭😭
Well done. Easy to follow, nice idea for a key fob. Thanks.
