This was another awesome video my buddy, shows the reality of moose hunting like you said its not always day one 8 AM and moose down. Sometimes it takes the whole season and many trips and some years that doesn't do it. You uncle had the best attitude he's out enjoying life and nature and thanking the lord he can do it, he has it figured out. I only use the hunt as an excuse to get out most times aftet all its fishing and hunting not catching and killing lol. Ye cooked up a nice lunch for him and he appreciated it and his day to look for moose with both of you. Wish you could of got one to see his reaction at his age. Another great video. For me, having his dad out hunting, was the best. Very emotional for me, lost my dad January 2018, at 69. He loved the outdoors, Hunting, fishing anything to with the outdoors.
Good time outdoor in the nature with family. Hunting is not about kill. It's everything around the kill. where you, who's you go with. stories and memories you created with friends and family. Good thing you posted that video. That's the real hunting. Pat
Watching from Goose Bay, I got a license for area 40, hunted for a week in September with no success but planning to go back in November for another go at it! Enjoyed the Video! I'm hunting with my 80 year old Dad.

I feel your pain with the constant calling and looking buddy. Stay at it. Great day out guys. I just spent a couple weekends out in the woods with my dad the past weekends. I agree on the lack of moose. I think there are less moose around that people think. Take care.

Oh the fields in Goose Arm Rd......I hunted the a few times myself Andrew........you should talk to Dan Ryland........he is alway keeping an eye on that place and he has no license this year........he may have some information on some moose sightings......Heck with hunting let's have a scoff........thanks for keeping it real Andrew........
Hey Andrew! Great video man! Wow, 85, that's truly awesome. Really nice to see and experience. When you actually call in a moose, will it come in to your down wind? Whitetails do, every time. I try to make sure there's a open field or lake or river on my down wind when calling or rattling my antlers.

at 86+ hunt with recurve or longbow, yup need walking stick to help but still hunt luv it luv it dont give up

If the moose is upwind of you most times they'll try to circle down wind to get your scent

Ive been struggling in area 7 more people than moose. Had a couple chances and messed up hope it dont cost me my moose.
