Door Closers are Stupidly Easy to Adjust

I didn't know, but after learning about it I adjusted mine and it is so much nicer. It angers me to know there are poorly adjusted door closers out there.

The screw locations can vary if you have a different unit but they often adjust similarly.
As for the example case in the video, it took 1/2 turn counterclockwise for the sweep, and 1 whole turn clockwise for the latching speed to get the desired result.

I tried it after Connection's video, but for some reasons it worked only with the door closers on the inside side of the door. I wonder what am i doing wrong...

The principles should be the same for most modern hydraulic door closers, but the position of the adjustments might change. Maybe you have a strange one with ancient or new technology?
