I love how Belarus kept their old anthem and maintains their old Soviet style government. Not giving into liberalism like other Eastern Bloc countries did saved them from hard times.
While you're correct about everything else, they don't have central planning like the Soviet government did, its a much more free country with Soviet iconography and traditions preserved.
