edit: Chain width is exactly 9mm to 9.1 not 9.5 like mentioned in video. my digital caliper hasn't been used in a yr so it read once and battery died when I was closing caliper that was where I seen the 9.5.

@@AG-yv8yb I researched for months before placing an order. It was initially for a 6mm, then upgraded to a 7mm, and finally landed on the 8mm. I’m very particular, and quality is always at the top of my list over value.
Like you’ve mentioned in your videos, GJM customer service is top notch. When I’ve emailed them (several times) with questions or changes I wanted to make, they’ve always responded within an hour and on weekends.
@mjftyler1922 most definitely. Not to mention chain came in over kt both chains..I will say I used the digital caliper..I took one reading a battery died..it's not over mm it's 9.0-9.2 mm just like my 8mm was so it's not gonna cone over mm
@@AG-yv8yb thanks for the clarification! I was a little surprised when you mentioned that your 9mm was that much over mm. I over analyze everything. From the countless reviews I’ve seen, DJI seems to come in .4 over advertised mm, but compared to Garcia’s, the weights are the same.
That’s another reason I went with Garcia’s.. true to mm but more weight compared to DJI. Plus I like unique and wasn’t about to hop on that bandwagon..

Definitely will help people making decisions..before all you would see on RUclips is daniel jewelry ..some cmg links top..daniels was too much for me..and cmg uses casted locks which I don't want..I like the way cmg links loom though

Now that you own the 9mm for a while, would you do the upgrade again? I ordered a 8mm from GMJ and I have been thinking about calling them and upgrade it to a 9mm. But I am unsure if I want to deal with the extra weight.
Increase was 20 grams. You can feel the weight increase but nothing to make you feel like it's too heavy. I think it's a perfect spot. Always go with biggest you can afford cause a 9mm looks bigger but if u want it to really look differ from the 8 I'd get a 10 if you are going for visual. Me inwear mine tucked in
@@AG-yv8yb I think your right. If I was to upgrade I will just go straight to the 10mm. I think I am going to just stay with the 8mm. Worst case scenario, I will just send to back in and graded it later. It’s not the end of world .
@@1left2live21 I started with a 7mm 24” 14k from GJM and loved it, but eventually felt like I wanted a bit bigger. A couple months later I decided to upgrade and went for their 8mm 24” 14k and loved that one too. A couple months later I decided to go bigger, but wanted a noticeable difference so I went for the 10mm 24” 14k. I feel like I’ve found my sweet spot. I’ve had it for 7 months now and haven’t felt the need to upgrade any more as I wear it daily (tucked) and is also hefty at 195 grams. Not sure I’d daily any bigger, but who knows lol. I’m plenty happy for now and the chain is flawless. I stare at it all the time 😂
I received my 8mm 14k 24” over a month ago and I was contemplating this same thought over and over before it came in. I wanted something substantial but not TOO crazy. I’m glad I didn’t go any smaller and I feel like this 8mm is perfect for me but that’s just me. I also wear it tucked in..

Well I sent them my 8mm to get melted. I'd check their website or give them a call. Also keep in mind gold prices fluctuate so u need to watch live gold prices
