Quality job mate , Ive been starting to look in to mullet fishing around there as well and did wonder whether Toms method with the baited spinner would work
What a great video it makes me feel kind of sad thinking about the great days fishing in the creek. We used to use one of the old red and white floats with the adjustable stem on the bridge with a flounder spoon. Their were so many flounder you could walk on them!! Looking back we just didn’t appreciate how good those times were. Brilliant video as always Stu…
So sad isn't it Dave, make you want to step back in time. Also makes you appreciate what we have now, however we may think about it, nothing lasts forever. Cheers Dave!!!
Ah that brings back so many memories for me stu I used to fish Newhaven harbour much more than I possibly should of for what I can only describe as the most frustrating fish to try and catch the wonderful mullet.😂😂😂😂😂
Well done stu a brilliant video as always, great to hear your story from your childhood fishing the creek, It was such a shame you didn't get a mullet . They certainly do give a very good account for themselves. I'm really looking forward to seeing your next video keep it up Stu we all love it
Great video stu, I live just off of the creek and often have a walk along in the evening's, always plenty of activity and actually saw a seal in there a couple of years ago. Hope you get to catch the mullet, shame there's no flounder anymore would be ideal there 👍
Great video stu from your description those mullet sound like thin’s, if you can fly fished shrimp I like some red in them is a productive method. Wonderful narration evokes memories of an area I fished as a child for mullet and bass. Tight lines for your future mullet endeavours .
Keep persevering on the mullet. If there are thin lips you should at least get follows. Where I fish the actual hook ups nearly always come under my feet.

Great been looking forward to this one👍

Absolutely worth a few goes. There were clearly shoals of up to 8 fish patrolling today, but very little interest. We keep on going though!!
well done mate another awesome video you really have the knack of putting out great quality videos 👍👍

Absolutely wonderful isn't it. I'll keep going with the mullet, and you never know, I don't think a founder is impossible, just tricky. Cheers buddy!!

You could be right there Paul. I'll look into that method. Cheers for watching buddy 🙂
Nice one stu from GRIMSBY
Thanks Carl buddy👍
Great video again thanks . Have you tried a pop up rig to help put off the crabs ?
Not yet! Although whilst having a sort out in the shed I did find some large ones. I'll give them a bash next time out. 👍
Scale down the spinner, size 2 is plenty and smaller hooks, and if you can get maddies that’s ideal if not, you need small ragworm 👍
I'll take those on board, thank you 👍

I shall keep trying, I think as spring blossoms, things should start to happen. Cheers buddy!!
