After watching these matches back a few times... I understand the match-up a bit better. Props to this Akuma for actually standing and trading punches with Steve (and being effective)... you don't often see that. His bravado threw me off my game and made me second guess myself in a few situations. (Nicely done I might add.) I saw I relied too much on a few moves like DF+1 because I was playing it safe. Gotta punish a few things better as always... but this was a really fun set. It's funny how I seemed to "wake up" at certain moments and pull something off outta nowhere. I'll be further self-analyzing this trait of mine... it's fun to analyze your own matches. I recommend it. xD

A lot of Akumas use these as pokes and they are not. Same with Akumas B+1 combo starter(-13). Akuma teleport is -15. Bait this out when you have Akuma cornered sometimes. 😉 Akuma: Props for not being a low sweep/fireball spammer. Learn the combo 1, Dragon punch, FADC into whatever. When Akuma has a bar, he arguably has the best punishment in the game. While the Ex version of dragon punch is a excellent anti pressure tool, the aforementioned combo can basically reduce the opponent to using safe offense and confirmed openings. This is because a Akuma who can hit a FADC combo is scary. This allows Akuma to pressure easier. Also mix in f,f+4(+ on block mid) and DF+3(Akumas fastest mid at 12 frames). Good job guys!

Strongly disagree. All of those characters bring great experiences, fun, and nostalgia to Tekken 7. Akuma's uppercut is punishable with a full damage combo if you bait it out. Geese is one of the most fun characters I have ever used in any fighting game, and I have been playing for 30 years. Thanks.

I plain hate the 2D additions to Tekken 7. But damn, that Akuma... He did put up quite a fight to deny demotion. Outstanding.
